Not sure how much better it is to change from Diverter valve to BOV, my Audi sounds amazing with my Diverter valve .. I think I may get more noise they your audi. Great video I like unique vids like this and always happy to see another Audi head .
personally I think it runs better having it in a new location and as far as the difference goes there is a little bit more sound coming out of it once you get the adjustments right
That flutter noise you like so much is actually bad for your turbo it's better to let it blow off into the atmosphere less chances of blowing your turbo back pressure on your turbo is not a good thing
Garry Giordano your so smart lol that is blowing into the atmosphere, its actually better to have a closed system recirculation then blow out, it confuses the ecu as the maf sensor becomes inaccurate with the amount of air in the system.
@@DannyGouchi you're partially correct but they have a hybrid system that you can use that does both recirculate and blow off which I will be switching to.
Garry Giordano yes i know but that still blows air out the system, with vag cars the system is closed meaning no air out or in except what comes thru the air filter before the maf sensor, the smallest vacuum leak can cause loss of power and idle flutter, why would anyone cause a leak intentionally i dont know, if you like the sound of your turbo why not upgrade intake filter or de baffle the charge pipe or get a custom exhaust.
@@DannyGouchi I choose horsepower over being a cool kid. My forge splitter is fully recirculating. I bought it because of the 50 click adjustable preload without changing springs and taking apart. Your right. Letting a little a bit of air out (hybrid valve) does mess with your long term fuel trims as much as 7%. No good.

2.5 inch greddy Type R adapter pipe you can find it on Amazon

You Audi heads do know that you'll get a beautiful diverter valve flutter when you do a air box delete ..
