Hey guys- my hair is thin because of my genetics. There’s nothing I can do to change the density of my hair. Regardless, my length is almost to my tail-bone and this routine does work! I learned it from my Sudanese mother whose hair is to her butt now!
The key to stretching the hair is braiding or buns (never too tight though). Always keep the ends protected so they don’t get tangled / break off. 1 braid, 1 twist, or 1 bun is my favorite ways to stretch my hair.
For thicker hair I would use black cumin seed oil and do 1 braid or loose bun for 6 months. Everyday unravel it, comb your hair out and spray with water then seal with oil and re-braid or re-twist. The water is KEY and this is how you keep the hair moisturized.
Also- you can totally skip the first ponytail holder and just braid or twist then close with a ponytail holder.
Your hair is so so beautiful amena, thank you so much for the advice 🇸🇩🇪🇹❤️❤️
Do the women in your family have long hair as well ?
@@jcicrafters5724 thank you for your nice comment!!!
@@diamondpurdie8871 on my mom's side yes... dad's side not so much.
most sudanese women have that hair texture so its common
Yay or Nay for hair videos?

This is a simple routine but this is how my mom got my hair to grow sooo long as a child. The key is to lock in moisture with oils and keep it protected in 1 or 2 braids or twists. After 6 months your hair will be so full and healthy and long!
yay for hair and other beauty content 🥰
Yay, because my hair texture is very similar to yours.
Amenaaaa blessing us with videos after videos!! I love it
♥️♥️♥️
Yes to hair and makeup videos. The conditioner sounds great. I'm terrible at taking care of my hair but surprisingly it's always been super long, only more frizzy in summer. Hope that conditioner will help with the frizz. BTW, you looked like a cute cat when you were brushing while closing your eyes 😂 ❤️
Jesus loves you Ravena ❤
😂😂 If you live in a humid place maybe that’s why it gets frizzy in summertime. Deep conditioning will definitely help!
Amena you look stunning!!! 😊😍😍😍
Thank you!! You don't know how a simple compliment can really make someone's day. I appreciate that
@@AmenaandElias your welcome habiba 💕💕
eye makeup routine next, please:) loved this video!
Thank you! Appreciate your positivity and will do!
soooooo pretty!!! georgeous. Jesus loves you so much Amena! Thank you for showing us ❤
Dont pull ur hair like that tight and ponytail it will pull the front part of ur hair.
Hi Amena a suggestion is to leave your deep conditioner longer 10mins is honestly not enough I tend to wash in am leave the treatment on with plastic cap and scarf the whole day then style after. And Jamaican black Castor oil is helpful to thicken the hair if you're interested. Stay blessed x
Thanks for being nice with your tips!! Yes I add castor oil too I love it!
Hi amina, thanks for sharing! Can you show us how u do ur eye brow , I like to do but don't know how, please show us eazy way ,. Thanks my sis!
Sure I will!
Lol I ment to say eye lash , thanks for response my dear!
You’re hair has gotten so long! I think if I remember right lol
It has lol thank you! This is the longest I’ve grown it actually.
I saw a video where u said u r on keto diet and let me tell you that i was on keto too and it made my hair very thin so I stopped it
Yeah you're right! I am doing Keto primarily to lose weight but once I get down to my goal I'm gonna start eating more carbs again.
@@AmenaandEliasI never lost hair on keto and I’m about to go back to it. The key is to supplement. Hair loss comes from lack of certain nutrients
I knew you were Ethiopian so pretty✨🙌🏾😍
She’s Sudanese lol

Your hair should not be washed daily our hair is not oily hence its better to wash weekly or every 2 weeks. Your hair is always super thin. Rather than using factory made treatments. Use Ethiopan Kebeh you can make it by whopping organic heavey cream with half cut of cold water tje butter should start to separte from the water, then add avocado, banana, eggs. Let this sit in your hair for the day or at least a couple of hours wash condition wash again. Also stop pulling back your hair you are losing front part of your hair. Also your nutrition is important to having healthy think hair.
I agree nutrition and health is important. My hair is thin due to genetics so there’s nothing I can do about that. Regardless this routine works for anyone trying to grow long hair. But I’ll try that deep conditioning mixture and see how it works for my hair! Also, I know it sounds controversial but washing every 2-3 days keeps my hair moisturized and doesn’t dry it out. I meant to say every 2-3 days during summer time*** During the winter I go to 5-7 days.
@@AmenaandElias Sorry Amena, I disagree with you. I used to watch your videos a few years ago and your hair was think and voluminous back then, Idk what happened now. So it's not due to your genetics. If I have to guess, it's probably due to stress. You need to lower your stress level and get rid of things or ppl that brings you stress. And also take an Iron and biotin supplement, after making these changes you will have your volume back. 👌
@@AmenaandEliasEshi Aminaye sorry I didn't mean to offend you. I just noticed it on your recent videos. No matter thin or thick hair you are the most beautiful RUclipsr. Yekrta Yene Konjo.
@@nardip4999 she mentioned she has a condition which makes her hair thinner.

Your hair is so easy to maintain, you have more that spanish texture, africans have that thick corse hair 😩
It’s only easy because it’s thin 😭 I’d much rather trade for African thick coarse hair lol
East africans have this hair texture. Africa is diverse.
Come on Amena you are talking a shower with your eye lushes? My sweet sister I haven’t seen you for a while and now your hair is getting less and less meaning used to be more thicker b4!
My hair is thin due to genetics there’s nothing I can do about that… Regardless this routine does work to get anyone’s hair really long!

Thank you! My hair is 3b too when it's curly! I used to have 3C hair but it changed as I got older. I wish it was thicker but I can't change it so I learn to live with it!!
