I have definitely been enjoying this sensitivity finder mechanic so far. While doing my last evaluation using it, I had a bit of an idea that could be interesting... Expand on a feature we already have... Custom hit sounds. As follows: -Adding a feature in the workshop that allows you to assign different hit sounds for each individual target. *Hit a bot you name, BELL and assign a DING sound effect. Etc.* Said feature also being able to effect markers set as tracking ones too. If not, maybe even something as simple as giving us the ability to change the pitch of the player's hit sound for specific targets. *As well as setting different colors for each target to show a visual difference* -As well with this add special bots that auto hit/track their OWN set of targets, possibly even the same ones you'll have to. Or targets that the player doesn't hit, but act as something the player has to copy. Either way something the player would base their shots on. Example: Bot hits Target1, Target2, Target2, TrackingTarget1, Target 1 Player then would try to copy that. There could also be a variant where the bot and player have different sets of targets at points, to add a bit of difficulty and not just a aiming form of simon says. Just imagine the potential with a feature like that. The addictive aspect of a Rhythm Game, combined with an aim training program it could make for an interesting training regimen. Some games have done this before, Gun Jam, BPM, Metal Hellsinger being examples, but with the workshop features of Aim Lab.. We could have a customized experience. Imagine players porting ideas from Friday Nights Funkin, into Aim Lab to practice their aim... Could be fun.
I was so confused until you mentioned you were thinking of rhythm games. There would have to be a LOT more done than just assigning simple sounds to certain targets for it to even slightly work as a rhythm game unfortunately. At that point, it wouldnt be aim training at all since the rhythm dictates your speed so reflex time is no longer relevant. Probably better to just stick with dedicated FPS rhythm games, lots of cool ones out there. As for the Simon says thing, I dont really see how that could be beneficial at all. Just short term memory training, not aimtraining
It's great that they've added this, but as an Oblivity user I think these recommendation algorithms just dont work, maybe someday AI will help, but for now it's far better to just have a sensitivity finder mode where you can play scenerios of your choice with random Sens, and then just provide a chart showing your scores so the user can decide.
i did this, and received a sensitivity of 16.09cm/360. previous was 12.989cm/360 after switching, i beat multiple high scores and ascended to new heights in the games i play (broke a record for a certain map) and dominate thank you for this, it was really helpful update: did it again and gave 20.75cm
This had me drop my in game hip fire sensitivity by 50% and ADS by 90%. I felt a big improvement right off the bat and after 2 hours of playing my K/D was much better than my average. Might try this out of other FPS games to see if anything improved, but initial impression is pretty positive.

damn getting recommended 17cm by the aimlab sens finder... what a god! For me it just gave me the sens i was already using right before probably because i was warmed up on it. I wouldn't rely on it too much though because the sens you should use depends a lot on the game. In tac shooters there's little benefit to using a high sens and you can get away with going super low sens because movement is slow and usually you know where the enemies will be coming from and in arena shooters its the opposite, there isn't really a point in going super low with your sens because those kinda games usually don't require a lot of precision and a higher sens is actually beneficial in many situations for example when tracking fast moving targets and if there's a situation where you do need higher precision you can just use zoom.
It recommended me a 5.4CM/360 HOWEVER, I am using 30k dpi and I have been using high sense for a while. . . felt. . . wonky and . . . unusually natural

I used this feature quite a bunch, it's consistently telling me to use 800 DPI, 0.554 sens for Valorant... but it just doesn't actually work in Valorant as the sensitivity is way too high and doesn't allow me to be consistent.
@@1872-v4d it's not that slow, I play with 0.7 400dpi. It depends on what kind of aim you have, if you move your wrist or your arm. I only move my arm, my wrist usually never moves.

@MiezMiez__ here is my thoughts after trying both Short answer: the PSA method is more accurate and will give you similar results depending on what you want, the Aimlab test can give you 3 different sens if you do 3 tests because everything is random Here is the long one: The PSA method allow you to be consistent in the tests you are doing, which is not the case with the aim lab one since it's random. (speed paterns etc) i did the PSA test 5 time each in CSGO, overwatch, titanfall 2 and a few others. Most of the time unless my goal was to get a high or really low sens they gave me the same sens or pretty close to it. which mean that with the PSA method YOU chose what kind of sens you'll end up with. in Overwatch for example, at some point i wanted to have a high sens, and the one the PSA method gave me was really comfortable (i think it was 7.1 at 800DPI but im not sure), it was definitly really high for me but weirdly enough i had more than enough control to play with it and shit on my opponents. where as the ones i got from aim lab where... let's just say not the best. with the aim lab method since everything is random even if you like one sens you may end up with a really high sens because you didnt perform well enough with the lower one that you liked. The worst exercise of the entire test is the tracking one and they really need to change it imo. most of the time i had really easy tracking patterns with high sens and when it came to lower sens even if the sens was really comfortable they gave me really hard tracking patterns with insane speed changes and close range shit. with the PSA like i mentioned earlier you can chose if you want to go for a low, medium or high sens which is impossible with the aim lab test. 3 test 3 different result, which is logic since everything is random. to end it i would say that the PSA method is way better than the aimlab one and here is why 1. each game have different mechanics, weapons shooting style and movement speed etc... which mean that with the PSA method you can really set a sens for a specific game and make sure your tracking, flicking and general movement is optimal for that game. 2. You chose the test, so if it's a game like CSGO where flicking is more important than tracking you can focus more on the flickshot side of things instead of focusing the tracking one. and in a game like APEX Legends you can actually focus more the tracking instead of the flicking. etc etc i don't believe in using the same sens in every game you play so for me the best tool to find my sens is the PSA method, like i said earlier every games is different and require you to be able to do different things so using the same sens from csgo in overwatch for example for me is pretty stupid.
im a wrist aimer i can tell this was made with arm aimers in mind it halved my sensitivity its not awfully slow its just slow for me someone who barely moves his wrist
This definently needs tuning, or like six shot added. I tested this 5 times, and it went like this 28.1, 27.68, 31.2, 15.5, 37.98 ?? Like its kinda tight the first numbers, but how does it go from 15.5 to 37.98 its over double. It did help me find my sens, and i think is a really great tool but it really needs a better precision mode, and shouldn't be so speed orientated.
Yeah noticed that too.. Might have to go back to the age old method of just practicing in the specific games to find my ideal sensitivity, then use a free online converter for other games.
Why doesn't Aim lab set to "Aim Lab" as the 'game' by default, so that the result of this test affects the "Aim Lab" game for new users? I'm going into the software for the first time with the aim of finding my cm/360 so that I can apply it to any game I play.
My only issue with the sens finder, is that the time to kill (TTK) in the game you're playing serves a serious role in which sensitivities are best. In a game like CS where you can 1-3 hit headshot someone, flicking aim works best (so mid-high sens) In a game like Apex Legends, tracking aim works best (so mid-low sens) And since pro players typically only specialize in one game, or one end of the TTK spectrum, I'm not sure that relying on an "out of engine" sensitivity finder is going to be best for anyone with serious intentions of joining the competitive scene. If I am wrong, please, someone enlighten me.
felt uncomfortable after switching to a new one from aim lab and returned to the old low sens :) was 0.478 400 dpi valorant, became 0.967 400 dpi, just doubled even though I've been playing low sens all my life
idk, for me it's woking very bad, my sens is 37.11 cm/360 (valorant 0.44 800 DPI) and i thought that i'm overflicking a bit, i pass through the test and he recommended me 19.73 cm/360 (val 0.82), it's almost times 2 my previous sens, now i'm flicking twice farther!
I've done the finder 2 times already and I keep getting a bug that just shows the skip countdown thing and it just leaves me at that. How do I fix this?
cool idea but needs a lot of improvement for me at least the recommended value had me performing way worse, I feel like it is not dynamic enough for a test?
Man, I've always struggled to find a good sens for me. So I tried this, three times in a row, hoping I would get something consistent that would work. I got, at CSGO at 800 dpi: Try 1: 1.6548 Try 2: 1.87 Try 3: 1.04 I don't even think this means something is necessarily wrong with the Finder, I think I might just be broken.
Maybe we should take multiple sensitivity tests and average the results to find the ideal. Edit: I tried it, it is very inaccurate. It recommeded 14 sensitivity on 800 dpi When i could not even play above 6.5 on COD.
I noticed that the finder can be really innacurate by about .20 difference from your actual sens you should be playing. Based off comments and my experience
I find this feature really helpful, for me the best result using the test was 22.39 360/cm using mouse dpi of 1100. I accidently didn't apply those settings after receiving them, how can I apply it manually by those details?
so the same sens I use in game on Valo is the sens i should put on AimLab? I googled this and people say theres a convertion rate like I play on 0.7 on Valo so converting to Aimlabs I should play on 0.98. Whats the correct way ?
I really wish that aimlabs would fix the controller sensitivity for rainbow six siege for some reason its super fast way faster than its supposed to be if they fix this it could probably get them way more people to download and I can't find a single game for an r6 aimtrainer on controller
Is the sens that the game switches to automatically adjusting to 400dpi? I play on 800 and the dpi it said it way too high i cant aim with it. On half the sens it recommended its actually good.
This may be a stupid question, but can you do this with controller as well? I am a controller player on Console and PC for OW2 since I feel better with it then mouse asuming it cannot :l

aint gonna lie, seeing Ron Kim in this video instantly make me want to try this out lol... ive been playing with the PSA method to find a sens in OW2 but i guess i won't need to lol
@MiezMiez__ here is my thoughts after trying both
Short answer: the PSA method is more accurate and will give you similar results depending on what you want, the Aimlab test can give you 3 different sens if you do 3 tests because everything is random
Here is the long one:
The PSA method allow you to be consistent in the tests you are doing, which is not the case with the aim lab one since it's random. (speed paterns etc)
i did the PSA test 5 time each in CSGO, overwatch, titanfall 2 and a few others.
3 test 3 different result, which is logic since everything is random.
to end it i would say that the PSA method is way better than the aimlab one and here is why
1. each game have different mechanics, weapons shooting style and movement speed etc... which mean that with the PSA method you can really set a sens for a specific game and make sure your tracking, flicking and general movement is optimal for that game.
2. You chose the test, so if it's a game like CSGO where flicking is more important than tracking you can focus more on the flickshot side of things instead of focusing the tracking one. and in a game like APEX Legends you can actually focus more the tracking instead of the flicking. etc etc
i don't believe in using the same sens in every game you play so for me the best tool to find my sens is the PSA method, like i said earlier every games is different and require you to be able to do different things so using the same sens from csgo in overwatch for example for me is pretty stupid.
At first it gave me 30cm/360 which was way too fast and then after doing it again it gave me 68cm/360.. Didn't seem to work for me
im a wrist aimer i can tell this was made with arm aimers in mind it halved my sensitivity its not awfully slow its just slow for me someone who barely moves his wrist

when is the update in mobile?
Did they take this feature out? I'm not seeing it.
the tool was removed you have to pay for it now
I just realized, he said his upwards tracking was a weakness.. why didnt he just use recoil to track it?
Idk what people are saying, it recommended me .20 less than what I used and I’m playing amazing now
why is the sensitivity finder not there for me
Why doesn't Aim lab set to "Aim Lab" as the 'game' by default, so that the result of this test affects the "Aim Lab" game for new users? I'm going into the software for the first time with the aim of finding my cm/360 so that I can apply it to any game I play.
My only issue with the sens finder, is that the time to kill (TTK) in the game you're playing serves a serious role in which sensitivities are best.
In a game like CS where you can 1-3 hit headshot someone, flicking aim works best (so mid-high sens)
In a game like Apex Legends, tracking aim works best (so mid-low sens)
And since pro players typically only specialize in one game, or one end of the TTK spectrum, I'm not sure that relying on an "out of engine" sensitivity finder is going to be best for anyone with serious intentions of joining the competitive scene.
If I am wrong, please, someone enlighten me.
felt uncomfortable after switching to a new one from aim lab and returned to the old low sens :) was 0.478 400 dpi valorant, became 0.967 400 dpi, just doubled even though I've been playing low sens all my life
idk, for me it's woking very bad, my sens is 37.11 cm/360 (valorant 0.44 800 DPI) and i thought that i'm overflicking a bit, i pass through the test and he recommended me 19.73 cm/360 (val 0.82), it's almost times 2 my previous sens, now i'm flicking twice farther!
lol
How did you calculate that sens to an game?
I have 17.54/360 but have no clue what sens is that in csgo…
@@imseshi2584 just google "sens converter" or something like that
this guy looks like he is a 360 photo you downloaded for aimlab
I can't seem to find the sensitivity finder
It says I need a Aimlabs mouse? To access the sens finder I’ve even bought the premium edition
That first Spheretrack was the easiest I have ever seen... like what?
and what do i need to do with the sensivity that i got in AimLabs, i just need to copy it in the game i play?
What do Input for mouse dpi on controller
why is there not the sesitifty test in my custom ?
It had been 0.26 DPI 1000 then changed to 1.5631. Well, nope, I was ready to a little change of sensitivity, but this is way to big difference
Hi. I cnt find the sens finder. The gamw i selected was minecrf
Why my aimlab don't have sensitivity finder my aimlab acc just new
I've done the finder 2 times already and I keep getting a bug that just shows the skip countdown thing and it just leaves me at that. How do I fix this?
hey, i just ran into this too and I had to reinstall aimlabs for it to fix. i couldn't find anyone else with that problem but hopefully this works.
@@ndrw9122 thank you
You need to pay for that
cool idea but needs a lot of improvement for me at least the recommended value had me performing way worse, I feel like it is not dynamic enough for a test?
Aim Lab will not show up in steam, just the gun skins for aim lab. I don't have it downloaded either, I don't know what's going on
This issue has been resolved and you should now be seeing Aim Lab on Steam again
how do you convert the sens you got in to val?
Idk how to find my Val sens, it gave me 39.49 cm/360
Man, I've always struggled to find a good sens for me. So I tried this, three times in a row, hoping I would get something consistent that would work.
I got, at CSGO at 800 dpi:
Try 1: 1.6548
Try 2: 1.87
Try 3: 1.04
I don't even think this means something is necessarily wrong with the Finder, I think I might just be broken.
I wouldn't say that. Maybe do a few more and take the average. Sometimes you might be on and off.
I set it up for Apex Legends I play on 1.8 800 DPI and this thing literally recommended .08 lmao i cant even move
Maybe we should take multiple sensitivity tests and average the results to find the ideal.
Edit: I tried it, it is very inaccurate.
It recommeded 14 sensitivity on 800 dpi
When i could not even play above 6.5 on COD.
hello guys i have a question why does my sensiitvy just wont change “it doesn’t go higher or lower” so i play every round on the same sens
Why does it not work anyomore????
I noticed that the finder can be really innacurate by about .20 difference from your actual sens you should be playing. Based off comments and my experience
do you need to convert the sen to valorant?
bro it told me 8.50 cm thats actually kinda crazy
i accidentally retried and im lazy how do i apply 20.60cm
sensitivity finder is inverted for me i move left it moves right i move up it moves down
I find this feature really helpful, for me the best result using the test was 22.39 360/cm using mouse dpi of 1100. I accidently didn't apply those settings after receiving them, how can I apply it manually by those details?
I tried this and right after the countdown ended after the first tracking challenge, my screen freezes \: does anyone know how to solve this?
i just tried it out and this same thing happens.
Try now! We've deployed a fix for this bug
@@Aimlab it just happened to me when i finished the sens finder :(
@@Aimlab nop its still freezing and i tried 3 times now
I normally run 60-70cm and I got 27.4cm recommended, is it drastic for everyone?
i dont have the sensitivity optimizer on mine
The sensitivity trainer crashes the game for me after i finish the 2nd task
nothing happened after inputting the dpi and clicking the continue button, any idea why?
done it 2 times... 19.32 and 10.11 ?
went from 1.5 to 2.4 and then back to 1.5 ( csgo ) the aimlab sens isnt working for me...
I'm confused, why is there no sensitivity option in the customs tab?
Did u find it?
Mines 8.50 what is it for x and y
guys pls help I don't have a sensitivity finder in aimlab? idk why
Yeah they put it behind a paywall in the analyze menu.
i did it and it didnt say apply settings
so the same sens I use in game on Valo is the sens i should put on AimLab? I googled this and people say theres a convertion rate like I play on 0.7 on Valo so converting to Aimlabs I should play on 0.98. Whats the correct way ?
Happy to get my new sens..
thats hilarious, 1st try - 23.59cm/360. 2nd - 34.44cm/360 and than boom - 70cm/360 (800dpi val)
Went from 51cm/360 to 28cm/360 in csgo. cant hit shit with this high sens
it pretty much doubled my sens. not sure if that's the move tbh
i use like 37 cm/360 this reccomended me 24cm/360 aint no way that is way to high
i need some help i cant apply the settings at the end
I really wish that aimlabs would fix the controller sensitivity for rainbow six siege for some reason its super fast way faster than its supposed to be if they fix this it could probably get them way more people to download and I can't find a single game for an r6 aimtrainer on controller
Idk but this tool recommended my current sens
Is the sens that the game switches to automatically adjusting to 400dpi? I play on 800 and the dpi it said it way too high i cant aim with it. On half the sens it recommended its actually good.
is aim lab removed from steam??
i def wanna try this out but my pc is too low end to run this game. rip
Do this for controller, or a way for it to copy and paste the sense from in game to aimlab
😂
The aimlabs sens finder wont show up in custom for me? Thought you had to purchase Aimlabs + but still doesnt :/. Anyone know?
i cant really adjust to going from 1.22 to 0.51 its a big jump but i will play a few games with it and come back to edit my results
This may be a stupid question, but can you do this with controller as well? I am a controller player on Console and PC for OW2 since I feel better with it then mouse
asuming it cannot :l
How do I change my background in aim lab
how come i dont see this under the custom tab?
Have u found the reason?
i didnt know there is a fps couch:0 that will be cool
when i beat the first lvl of this it wont let me click skip and its not starting the second lvl how can I fix
This was a bug. We've deployed a fix, go give it a try!
just curious what this thinks my sens should be. and if i dont like itill switch back to my old one
Then go find out? Idk what the point of your comment is
