It is such a waste of time! Having to go out of the house to a different location just to wash dirty clothes... USA is incredibly backwards in so many aspects.I wish my apartment had the option of having a washing machine.

Not everyone has access to washer and dryer amenities.
My question, why people not doing laundry at home with own machines?
Some homes are simply not built to support a laundry(or dishwashing) machine.
And I guess for some people, if they are just living in a place for a short time(like half a year or so), they would have to spend the money on a machine and then have it installed, so they might not think it's worth it for just a few months.
