- Tips and Tricks on how to use Spotify Premium Family Plan (even if you're not in the same country).
Beneficial for those who are outside their country for a living (Expats).
1. Create an account (a phone number, an FB account or a new Apple ID account).
One of these options will do.
Remember, the account should be created in the country where the host is.
2. After signing up, open & click the the invitation link from the family member who shared you the Spotify's Premium Family Plan.
3. Use the account you've created to log in on your Spotify.
4. Make sure you will use input the same address as where your host is.
You can choose anywhere (city, town) in that country.
Once Spotify directs you to your location, make sure to input your address "manually".
5. After Spotify's verification, you will now start to use Spotify family premium plan even if you are outside your country.

Hi i made a new account, with a new email and tried to join my Spotify family premium account. Still had three spots. Same country, i just copy pasted my address from my original account and it still said that the address did not match. 🤔 If you're gonna answer this gahd you are a lifesaver. I've been trying to figure this out for 3 hours now 😅

Can you confirm that you've made sure the country settings of your Spotify account and the person you want to add to your Family plan match?

No they can’t unless they have your password or you merge the playlists otherwise ur fine

An existing account will do.
Will it change my Spotify account country?
Both should have the same country in the spotify settings on both accounts
