For the recession news - media loves to share these news because negative news get the best clicks. The recession was expected for 2023 Q1, but in September you’ll hear news again that Germany is out of recession because the prognoses is of growth and even stronger growth for 2024. The 3 year citizenship plan will further change things completely for the country.

If you are skilled and outstanding in your field then you can get EB-1 for the US which has a wait time for 3 years... So I would do research on all options before considering a specific one...

I just want to say a big thanks to you for being so real in all your videos and not making them clickbait. Your earlier videos where you spoke about german taught master programs were the driving force for me to hop on to the journey of learning until C1 and now today- I am in Germany, studying and working in this language and being welcomed b the job market - it's been wonderful! Thank you so so much for your work!
P.S. Huge respect for people who come here, are humble enough to forget all they knew back home and show no qualms in adapting to life here by respecting the fact that Germany is infact not a nation where things work in English, no matter how small or big the city! I have studied and worked in Germany. I did upto B2 intensive course (topper of class) . But the level doesn't matter, its the grammer and practice . I have been in India now for 2 years and recently i gave an interview for a German company in German (except some technical part). I have not spoken or heard any German for last 2 years but i have not forgotten much because I did my course in Germany (thats very important) and with good amount of effort. So, my point is please don't do a German course just to write B2 level of your CV. Go to good language institute (preferably in Germany) and learn the language.

Why software engineering job ? Germany has an excellent system of vocational education called Ausbildung. Infant German Immigration law gives extra rights to those who did it. Software field too has Ausbildung called Informatica technica etc something. At the end being software engineer is not a big selling point in Germany. They don't consider it as real engineering.

If you are technically sound and living in a reasonable town or city with international population you can escape from learning german. You can clear b1 with just shortcut tips suggesting videos without fully being able to converse in deutsch. If you want to buy a house and settle there then you need to learn deutsch the proper way. Like France, sweden, belgium .. germany would also have similar problems in few years. Its upto your choice considering these aspects. For a techie, learning german spending years is not worth in my opinion.. you can learn many technologies and tech certifications which would help wherever you go
My knowledge of Dutch rode piggy back on what little German I had learnt in India. And it is also the official language of Belgium if someone wants to explore settling in Belgium.

Yes. They are both german languages. And share lot of similarities. Thats coming from someone who is here 5 months. You will get of easier. Although Its gonna take some time to figure out what different whats not. Im still learning, but I think I can understand more than 5 months prior.

There are sixteen federal states with 16 different higher education laws. If you fail one try another. Ask the foreign student Office of any university for help and specific.
Germany has too many German business grads and doesn't need anymore. Accounting in Germany requires excellent C2 German. I wouldn't recommend studying anything business related unless you can get into Goethe University in Frankfurt.
Bro I stayed in germany and Italy from 2 yrs for you I think a country like neitherland Norway and denmark will be better option as they speak English. In IT you don't need language but for others its more difficult.

In my view, language is not the core reason why people are returning back home. Everyone has their own reasons if they decide to return. For example, I can speak fluent german, still I am not satisfied with Germany in many aspects like tax system, paperwork, salary range, and so many things which do no just make sense.

I mean yea. I had this problem too when I asked for better salary, they said they can't. Because workers union said you can employ two Europeans for the same salary I was asking. In a way it's right. Its demand and supply. Simply there is abundance of IT, engineers etc. If not a German they can hire an European from Poland, chezia, Russia etc. So, Indians have no extra USP here. After taxes most earn higher net salary in India than Germany.

Overall I don't recommend Germany for Finance. There are too many finance grads and not enough jobs. However, Goethe Uni in Frankfurt has a well recognised programme and can sometimes set students up with excellent internship opportunities.

What you said is so true. Honestly which language is even easy? Be it Hindi, English, French... I invested one full year exclusively for learning German and it's so so worth it especially when you're looking for a career in Germany.

@@jxsroop16 I have mentioned 'exclusively' which means I spent one full year only to learn German. So if committed full time, one year is more than enough. Having said, its equally important to practice it regularly by interacting with German speakers, listening to podcasts, movies which will play a significant role in improving your speaking skills.

I have been doing masters for more than two and half years here in Koblenz, Germany and just got a full time job starting next month ☺which is in German, although I did my course in English. My personal experience is that, in general it is really hard to get adapted with Germans and Germany in general since it is essential to learn to live alone or either find international friends who share common ideologies. Knowing the language might be completely useful for professional opportunities and learning to the highest standard is essential to survive professionally since knowing a little something never helps. It essentially all comes down to adapting and surviving as we do in any country. If you live in a small town, you need to adapt to being in lonely conditions until you have a partner or we have to learn to keep busy in various ways. Inspite of speaking fluent German, Germans are not open to entertaining people from other countries and stick to the bare minimum of sticking to their old friends and maybe other fellow Germans. It might be any country and adapting would be an essential part of life and hence I would not blame any country in general.This is just my point of view. Many people might have different experiences .

If I couldn’t speak German - I’d not be married to Alina or would ever be able to speak to her family make friends etc. I agree that knowing little is useless, but being fluent changes everything completely. I have many thoughts about this and will share this in a video. Of course, everybody has different experiences, but I strongly believe Germans are one of the more friendly nationalities that I have come across in my life if you speak the language.

As an indian try donating blood to a german who needs tour blood, see what would a nurse do. she will show a list of countries citizens from these countries cant donate blood to a needy german. blacklisted. Finance opportunities are terrible in Germany unless you have amazing quantitative/ modelling skills.
I searched just usa shooting and clicked on the news section ,and oh my god .16 hours ago ,2days ago last friday (today is monday 29 may 2023 for anyone reading this in the future) and the day before that almost everyday there are shootings going on in the us,in the parking lot, in the bus, hell even in your house you arent safe a guy shot his roommate becasue he ate the last hotdog WTF? a guy killed his entire family father sister and mother and proceeded to shoot at the cops ,another shooting took place in a mall these are just a few cases in the past week imagine this on a yearly basis, absolutely terrifying !

It is unlikely that you'd be accepted into a Studienkolleg with your grades. You could try completing a year of university first and trying to improve your average.

Getting to B1 in 3 months is far from the truth. School courses alone for one course like A1.1 will need at least a month; hence, A1 overall needs 1.5 - 2 months. A2 needs 1.5 - 2 extra months same for B1.
Realistically speaking with no German background you will need 4 - 5 months to get the B1 (Note you need to prepare for the exam which I did not calculate).
People have to book one year to learn the German language and to pass the exams, and then they are set to go.
And he didn’t even mention the fact that most employers who pay decent salaries aren’t looking for people with B1 or B2 level German anyway! You need a minimum of C1. And it can easily take years to get to that level because German grammar makes zero sense. I say that as someone who has a professional level of German and has been living in Germany for a decade.
Company who have a lot of German paperwork or customer contact want C1. But engineering jobs are happy with B2 or will provide in company learning opportunities.

You do not meet the formal requirements for admission to a German university set by the ZAB. Don't waste your money applying through Uni-Assist. Uni-Assist evaluates foreign diplomas according to the guidelines set by the ZAB and is not allowed to grant exceptions. Your only chance is to find a university that will accept you without formal qualifications (however, almost all good universities don't make exceptions). If you complete a 4 year Tech degree in India in 3 years, this BTech is recognised in Germany.
Bharat, I am sure you mean well but people move to a new country not only for job opportunities but also to continue making a life there. As an immigrant you want to feel you and your children are not only welcomed but also given an opportunity to succeed and be happy. Germany is a rigid society that does not like change, which for this reason foreigners can't fit in. That's a fact unfortunately. I can give literally hundreds of examples of people who told me that the integration was near impossible. Treatment just as poor. Perhaps this may change in 20 years but for now I see the far right gaining momentum and not the other way around. I have met many many Indians in the US and UK. Not only are they accepted in to society but are thriving, not only as tech CEO's but as politicians, as university professors, etc. I can't imagine an Indian CEO of any German company or a politician of Indian origin here... see what I am getting at.

Bro the greatest problem here is the language te hies with good expérience with 5 to 15 years experience who came here are struggling withe lnaguage.
Whether or not Germany is foreigner friendly is debatable. But comparing Germany with USA is baseless imo. I lived in US and for last 5 years I am in Germany. USA is simply far far far better than Germany. It is a country built by expats for the expats. Germany is inviting foreigners today due to shortage of skilled labours but they have not built a process for easy integration. On one hand inviting expats to support economy and on the other hand mandating language restrictions and not opening up to "language of the world" is double standard. Also if you are highly skilled and want to encash your skills and willingness to work hard, Germany is not a rewarding country. Also let me tell you although this video talks about learning till B1/B2, I can assure you that you will not get a job without at least C1 level of German fluency.

I recently watched a news regarding Ariha Shah taken away from her parents by German authorities & took Ariha's custody accusing sexual abuse from her parents. I know there might be situations where our toddlers might hurt themselves while playing or doing some other activities. Considering this how should a parent not fall prey to all such situation if he or she is seeking job opportunity in near future.
In Western countries you cannot do anything to your child, Indian parents should learn to behave themselves, if planning to go abroad, other things like this will happen.

I know many who studied there. You should be aware that there are very few employment opportunities in Cottbus. You really need to make sure your family can afford to send you over 10k a year. You really, really should learn German before arriving in Cottbus. There are hardly any job opportunities for grads in World Heritage Studies.

2. I used their SOP and LOR review services and got admit in Summer Intake itself when seats are lesser compared to Winter Intake.

Just becasuse getting visa is easy in germany is easy n tough in US doesnt make it the best country to live in n a safe place .. there are other factors too .. a immigrant is always an immigrant wether u speak the language or not ..

No, but if u are coming to Germany u should take the language learning seriously because u will have it way easier than only knowing english for example. It is also a respect for culture and language. That goes for every country.

Grass look greener from other side. Btw knowing language is least you can do if you have long term plans in Germany. Otherwise germany has enough issues which as Indian or expats is very difficult to overcome. You finish your lifetime to settle here and that much exact time it takes. B1 in 3 months only possible if you don’t do anything on earth and just sit and learn the language and practice. I haven’t heard anyone in my circle completing b1 in 3 months . Come on be realistic. Germany has so many other problems that even other western country people like US and candadian s really don’t know. I Met so many tourists in Munich and elsewhere they thing too high of germany and they have no knowledge about anything about living in Germany. For example a lady from US was complaining that it took an Irani 3 months to just get a driving license. I told her if irani comes here for example he will struggle to settle other matters and can concentrate on license only after a year. Moreover taking license would take 8months to 1yr and would cost 2-3L Indian currency.
Guys it is not that hard to learn German. I took a German language course in my bachelor's degree and I can confirm for any human that has a working brain can easily learn German if they put in some effort 😂. Don't worry about it too much just because everybody is talking about its important. It is important but it is not that hard

I agree with you if you come as a student and have mple time to learn the language... Etc. But IT professionals really not aware of the language barrier to get a job here... Atleast the federal govt should make it mandatory for professionals to qualify B1 before landing in Germany.
