After the disappointments of Blackburn and Stoke, that was a massive result and one that will hopefully get our confidence back and hopefully set us up nicely for the rest of the season, depending on what happens in the January window but that's a different story, I'm not gonna lie I wasn't that confident going into this one but thank god I was proven wrong and we did actually turn up tonight, for the most part I thought we played well when we actually went forward, nice to see us go with a 4-4-2 tonight cos that really got the best out of Isidor and Mayenda, defensively still looked a mess at times and did sit back to much in the 2nd half but thankfully we didn't get punished for it and we got the job done and that's all that matters right now, in terms of performances I thought Mayenda had his best game in a long time, either play him up front or don't bother cos the lad offers so much when playing in his natural position, Mepham had his best game in a while, solid as a rock and Neil put in another good shift, definitely more like it from Dan in the past few weeks or even month, massive win tonight but we've got to do it again on Sunday, got to beat Portsmouth simple as that otherwise tonight was a waste of time, big opportunity for the lads, let's hope they don't waste it and hopefully some quality additions in the window, that would be nice 😂🔴⚪🔴⚪

The players needed that win. They've had so many games of either going behind early or dropping points, so to take the lead twice and beat Sheffield United should give be a massive confidence hit.
Happy for Patto to save a penalty and happy for Mayenda to score, both have been unfairly piled on recently, both need improvements but their abilities are there to see and both deserve full credit for their part in the win. As for the game itself, very entertaining game of football, the player's were well up for it and despite yet another bad referee we fully deserved that win.
Was at the game tonight! We really needed that win, its put us right amongst the Automatic Positions with the transfer window now open to hopefully bolster our squad. For me, it was a fantastic performance against a really good Sheff Utd team! The star players for me were Meyenda and Neil. Absolutely superb and they were closely followed by many other players! Fair play to the lads for that performance! PS I never understand why so many fans leave early and especially during such important games!
Happy New Year Michael. That win made the drive back across the North York Moors worth it. We stood our ground in the last 15 minutes against a very physical team. They got away with blatant fouling all game in front of the most abject officials this season. I agree wholeheartedly that given the financial rewards of promotion from the EFL, the officials need to be of PL standard. Thats two games in a row where we should have had been awarded penalties. We have nothing to fear from these recently relegated parachute payment teams.

That 2nd half was possibly the longest 45 mins I've ever watched. I was just waiting for the inevitable equalizer that amazingly never came. Credit to Mayenda who never hid tonight & is definitely better through the middle. Regarding the ref, I was watching on TV and he got most of the big calls correct. All the best for 2025 mate.
I didn't watch or comment on your Stoke video as I was fuming. O Nien needs a spell out of the team so I hope Ballard is back soon. I would even play Alese and Cirkin alongside Hume and Mepham. I don't blame him for the own goal, it was unfortunate but he is making too many mistakes that are costing us those clean sheets, Stoke and Sheff Utd away being examples but even at start of this game he was almost caught out twice. However, that is a great win and I am also chuffed for Mayenda and for Aouchiche who have stepped up to fill in for absentees well. Playing Mayenda more centrally is the right choice too as it massively helped Wilson who looked much more dangerous with that support
Aye m8 ref was shite again, since when has shirt pulling arm pulling and obstruction not been a foul, why aren't throw ins taken from place ball goes out of play, brilliant tonight gave all for the shirt play like that for rest of season please, hopefully a couple of new players, ftm

Mate you criticise the referee every single week. Have you ever reffed a game? It’s fast paced and you can’t see around corners. I only did Sunday league but I can tell you it’s hard work. Good win today and I enjoy your videos but you can’t say every week “this is the worst referee I’ve ever seen”
