Before I became Christian I wanted more then anything to have a girlfriend to cherish and love... essentially this was one of my biggest idols. After many failed attempts and various dates with other girls... nothing seemed to stick. I was burnt out unfulfilled and lost. It wasn't until I fully surrendered my life to the Lord where He kept bringing into my mind this one girl that I went on a previous date with... fast forward a bit and we eventually began a relationship in which I taught her what it means to understand the gospel and faith in Christ... as a result of this our relationship was nothing but fruitful, edifying, and loving and has brought us both closer to God... We are now getting married this July!!

Very timely 😭 I was praying on my way home last night thanking Him for things He never gave me & I thought I needed them. The lord led me to read about Abraham having to give up his son Issac jus this morning and was speaking to me through it asking -if he gave me something I really wanted and one day asked me to give it up, would I do it ? And would I worship and praise him the same after? This video is so timely. I'm 18 years old and finished matric last year. I really thought that God wanted me to go study in the beginning of the year, but a few minutes after I received my matric results I received an email from the varsity I was going to attend that I had been rejected due to space constraints. So I thought that maybe God wanted me to reconsider what I wanted to study... but just yesterday I discovered that God wasn't calling me to change my desire to study that specific course but rather He closed that door because education was and if I'm being honest is still kinda one of the things I found/find my identity in. I'm currently still in a season of waiting and growth, and I must admit it's hard not knowing what comes next. I think for me my biggest struggle is that I currently don't have or am not part of a community... aka I don't have any friends. I guess God just had me in a season of isolation in order to set my priorities straight. It's hard... like it truly is but I'm learning to trust God regardless of my circumstances. So in essence I just want to say thank you for sharing this because I truly relate with what you're saying especially when it comes to the first story you shared about going to study. ❤❤📿

And praise God, I am so much better. My contract of over a year was finish, now I’m unemployed and I know that God closed that door for a reason. What it is as yet? I’m not sure. So this has been confirmation to continue to trust and obey because HE is our Heavenly Father and wants the best for us!! HE will NOT withhold anything good from us! If GOD says NO (no matter how hard it is) it’s for a very good good reason!! I’m reminded of Adam & Eve GOD said no to the one thing and YES to so much more and well…it didn’t go so well when they chose their desire over GODs command to say the least! This all depends on the nature of what you've been praying for I think. There are things of huge significance (think healing, end to trauma) that I can never be glad about not being answered.

Another lovely testimony, I have had so many similar experiences of shut doors, currently healing from a break up from my fiance of 5 years and so badly wanted it to work but God has another plan in mind and it's really tough while going through to understand it. Your message spoke straight to me and it's very encouraging to still trust God that all things would work out even if we cannot always see it.

Continue seeking his face and ask in prayer what is his will for you in the doors you are asking to be open. Always remember if what we are asking isn't aligning with his will for us and his word it won't be open. His plans are always better than ours. Hope this helps :)

Sometimes people will only pray over us and things wont come to pass just simply because they personally know us. Trust me when I tell you God will speak to you. Do you attend a bible teaching church? It's great that you have these questions and even greater when you can ask an elder or someone in authority leadership on these things. God's will for you is clear. Do what is right and just, love others, and love God. What is the last thing he told you to do. Thats mostly his will for you.
@@ashleylockett5509 no I don't attend a Bible teaching church. I read the Bible on my own and follow an online church sermon which is not in my country. And I watch other explanations and teachings like Sarah and do my daily routines in my time with God. But as I said you can fall 7 times and stand up 8 times. But you cannot fall out 2646777767 times and stand up again if you keep praying, fasting, reading and doing God's will. The last thing God spoke to me.... I dont hear him..... It's amazing how all of u do. But thank you for all your advices.

Another lovely testimony, I have had so many similar experiences of shut doors, currently healing from a break up from my fiance of 5 years and so badly wanted it to work but God has another plan in mind and it's really tough while going through to understand it. Your message spoke straight to me and it's very encouraging to still trust God that all things would work out even if we cannot always see it.
I really hope that you will heal quickly, you will get the best😊. I have been in that phase, wherein I wanted the relationship to work so bad, but it did not work out the way I wanted, because god knew he was not the one. Let go off selfish people from your lives. You will meet the right one. ❤️

What if God has been closing doors on you ALL TGE TIME. How does one deal with that.....
Continue seeking his face and ask in prayer what is his will for you in the doors you are asking to be open. Always remember if what we are asking isn't aligning with his will for us and his word it won't be open. His plans are always better than ours. Hope this helps :)
@@ashleylockett5509 is it OK to ask others if they have a word of God for u. Like people who are able to give a prophetic word. Because.... It's been years that I have been asking for God's will. I would be so happy if I would know HIS will in my life.... But there is truly nothing I can pick up, neither from his words nor other things......
@@wentaghebrehiwet1632 It's better if you just pray and read your word. God's revelation can be revealed and the word is living already we just have to open it. Sometimes people will only pray over us and things wont come to pass just simply because they personally know us. Trust me when I tell you God will speak to you. Do you attend a bible teaching church? It's great that you have these questions and even greater when you can ask an elder or someone in authority leadership on these things. God's will for you is clear. Do what is right and just, love others, and love God. What is the last thing he told you to do. Thats mostly his will for you.
@@ashleylockett5509 no I don't attend a Bible teaching church. I read the Bible on my own and follow an online church sermon which is not in my country. And I watch other explanations and teachings like Sarah and do my daily routines in my time with God. But as I said you can fall 7 times and stand up 8 times. But you cannot fall out 2646777767 times and stand up again if you keep praying, fasting, reading and doing God's will. The last thing God spoke to me.... I dont hear him..... It's amazing how all of u do. But thank you for all your advices.
