wonderful work. they need a neighborhood assistance program for those empty houses too. could house some homeless people & get them employed again. no reason why there should be empty houses & people sleeping in the streets in this country. change your politicians.

I find it fascinating that feral dogs seem to know they and their family are being adopted and or saved.
Its also likely that this dog had an owner and could have easily been lost or abandoned when they found out it was pregnant. We'll never know how it truly ended up there.

A big thank you to all the rescue groups, volunteers, and animals advocates! I believe aggressive and persistent spay/neuter programs are the true answer to controlling our unwanted pet population. Isn’t it more humane to prevent unwanted litters through spay and neuter than using euthanasia to control the pet over population problem?

really good question Victoria Mustafa. However, we believe people do not like the use of a Catch Pole. They do not understand it is temporary and a really important piece of gear for a rescuer - especially when there are puppies involved. It matters not how adorable mama usually is - when there are puppies involved - it's for everyone's safety. Thank you for watching. Are you subscribed?

We have a mother and five puppies that were left in an abandoned home 3 years ago. we kept all the dogs built a 200 square foot dog house and fenced off 1/2 acre along with an invisible fence f I r them. We love our dogs and so happy we kept all of them. Apparently the person who found them at 6 weeks old was told by the humane society, that if they brought the puppies in they would kill them.

Belle the Badger-depending on what your allergic to, you might be able to adopt a poodle. there are a few other dogs that are better for people w/ allergies. if its the fur, you could always go for a hairless cat/dog.

How do people dislike a video like this?
They don't like the use of the catchpole. Frequently people do not understand that not all dogs can be captured with a cheese burger and patience. People tend to like a little gentler style

I can't believe there are so many abandoned houses there. Before they were obviously trashed they must have been beautiful. I don't understand it. At least the dogs have somewhere to go God bless them. I don't understand all the dogs abandoned as well. Don't the people care for dogs there? This is something we don't have here where I live. You rarely see a dog without an owner and to see so many at one time is truly unbelievable. I am so glad they have you and people like you who do care.
