- This one was a nice surprise, was expecting to not even work on demolyst but it works very well on demolyst! As far as acolyte does not work as well but will still freeze them in place. But its best against lephantis I'd say letting you dps while stunning.

7:35 I'd say that right there sums up _exactly_ what's wrong with the game today. Not only does nobody want to play as a team with roles other than being the most efficient mass murderer anymore, the game _actively punishes_ you for doing so. Warframe isn't multiplayer anymore, it's parallel single player and has been for quite some time.
Yeah the game is not built to be coop anymore, it can't be, frames are too powerful and independent on their own nowadays.

Best support for atlas as well!!! If u stun acolytes with the weapon u can get the increased multi damage from his One punch ability against petrified enemies so u can actually one punch a acolyte wayy more often and it feels amazing with hipfire with full minus recoil its awesome!!

@@technoviking2415 i mainly use kuva tonkor just to speed it up. If they nerf my kuva tonkor's ammo like they did to every other AOE weapon, im gonna be pretty much done with warframe for awhile

I’ve been trying to find more in this mod. It doesn’t link yet. I personally put it on the prisma gorgon, but I was just playing around to see what it would do on some bosses. I turned Vey Hek to stone while he was still shielded!!! He just advances to the next area. I shredded him.
Btw, I do know you can just skip the first few rounds with Vey Hek, but again I was playing around.

@@undeadinside3571 with multishot and xatas whisper are 3 shots, add prime shred and there you go, but it's not worth that much effort honestly, i prefer smashing for millions with arcane energize tbh

I just rolled a gorgon riv cc, cd, cold but its + recoil. It is ironically for sale. Im on xbox. My main riv is cc, cd, fr w/harmless neg.
I like the weapon, when you're doing normal stuff it's fun to use whatever you like m8.

no they do not

Wukongs clone doesnt utilize the mod unfortunetly witch could be an interesting setup.. I always use my clone to make the most status/utility-damage for me to hardknock the crowd with stropha or whatnot..
im going to add this to my spaceman to see how it does with a dude who just sprays bad guys

I doubt it. They wanna keep nerfing AOE, so this will stay. Its not AOE, so positive attention to it is great for them
Pretty niche to begin with, maybe good for Atlas looting, but you giving up 1 dmg slot for this aug, making your modding times a bit difficult, a niche use is ok like looting, but main use? Not enough.
1 mod slot > almost everything, for maximum dmg.
You need to have at least Hata-satya/critical precision levels of value to make it worthwhile to slot in for main use, or be like bhisaj-bal which is an exilus augment that gives 90% status and 300heal per 3 status, which is also borderline broken for a exilus mod.
Personally won't consider this as something broken or best, since this augment will take over your riven slot, or losing more dmg just to equip it, and the value it can provide just isn't that big.
Picture this,
Your generic viral slash build need:
2 standard galvanized package mod (diffusion, aptitude)
2 standard crit mod
1 riven to take advantage of the dispo
2 mod slot for viral
1 Hunter munitions.
And outsourcing fire rate with arcane acceleration.
Now u put in the augment, means that u either ditch HM, or risk losing viral, resulting in cold/toxin, need to subsume thermal sunder with thermal transfer augment to get cold and mod-in toxin for viral, or simply go nourish, which is okay, but that essentially means that your weapon is destined to be only good against grineer, since:
1. Cannot mod gas against corpus/infested.
2. While you can just not outsource fire rate and just equip it on weapon, and get arcane rage for 180 more base dmg, and mod raw viral/two toxin mod/gas + defense strip like pillage for an alpha dmg build.
Slotting in the augment means that you are forced to subsume thermal sunder/nourish, or play frost with 1 augment, and build in armor strip which is needed for alpha dmg build, and can subsume in dmg buffs, but this setup is only available for frost, but even then, you can just ditch the augment for a better time in minmaxing.
If you insist on equipping it, you must, in fact, minmax the fk out of your riven mod, a cc cd tox is absolutely mandatory for this to work, but consider that just how low the chances are, this is exempt from the solution.
Even it can cc eximus/acolytes/demo, the dmg just isn't good enough to make up for it, and consider that acolytes/demo grow resistance against the cc when the time goes by, this aug will be useless after that, which will be happening pretty frequently since rifles tend to struggle a bit against acolytes.
And you have to understand that there's also enemies nearby “assisting” the acolytes, landing 20 consecutive hits seems to be a little bit tricky to begin with, consider that u have to maneuver around and aim perfectly at the same time, which quite frankly, 90% of wf players can't do that consistently.
Another reason is it being pretty single-ish with punchT, thus mean that you cannot effectively spread the effect against the enemy fodders.
Don't expect this to be nerfed, it is very good on paper, but practically? Very niche.
Since you wasting a slot just for this augment to be in your build, trading crucial dmg for this will start to become a problem on sp without serious riven minmaxing and weapon/elemental dmg buffs, which a zylok augment aka eximus advantage will unironically do better vs it in minmaxing if condition is met, since you can be very nuts and actually ditch sp arcanes for cascadia overcharge. (24% more crit from arcane + 16% from mod, with 45% from avenger, making it 93% crit.)
wild idea: Not using primary slot for damage because why would you?
Gorgon fits perfect because a secondary and a melee are enough for anything
@@laszloneumann500 the reasoning behind it is only involved around me using only this weapon, If I want to only use this weapon, no secondary, no melee.
Also,
High dispo Rifles generally lacks in space since most of the times you'd slot in a riven or the augment, in this case. The augment is decent for niche uses like atlas synergy but it just isn't good for a mod slot in general use, and due to its non aoe nature, the efficiency of it will be hold back by a decent amount.

Also,
1. I never say that I force myself to use one weapon, you take it out of context.
2. The issues you see here is about modding issues, yeah you can bring another weapon along to kill something tough, but if I use this weapon now, what result will I receive is the point, you can have a strong secondary or even glaive prime, but now the situation is in when I switch to the weapon, it is the key of the show.
3. I'm Just talking about this weapon itself and what issues it can be brought to it with the augment. That's all. No additional meanings.
4. Imagine saying I'm not judging on reality. I literally play only single target weapons as my primary arsenal only consists bows, snipers, shotguns and rifles. This is what my experiences tell me. Rifles struggle in killing fast already, adding another augment that gives no boost in kpm simply isn't ideal, consider that u absolutely need punch through to work decently, your mod space is only going to suffer more and need primed shred, result in 1 more space occupied.
5. I already mentioned, good for niche, not really for general.

Check to see if it works with atlas's petrify augment. It SHOULDN'T but spagetti code.

Not even remotely OP. Enemies have to be hit 20 times and live! We have better than this without even using a weapon slot. Magus lockdown does this on a whole group without needing to shoot any of them even once

But if it isn't fixed it will definitely make the Gorgan replace the Glaxion for the newbie disruption loadout. Especially with how fast we can switch weapons now.

The weapon is fine for day to day stuff, not everything needs to 1 shot.
