These voice actors seem to have more of a friend ship than most casts in america. I dont think a lot of voice actors in america even really see each other outside of events.
They do have the advantage of being first. The Americans don't tend to get together because it's a voice over. Their emotions to a certain scene need to match their Japanese counterparts. I believe it was mentioned the Japanese VA say their lines etc before the animation. They kind of need to be together if you want the right emotions etc to come across. It's the difference between VA for a new script vs voice overs. At least that's how I understand it.
this is an old comment so i may not get a response but i thought all of these clips were from event style things? like the VAs were specifically invited to make content by a group? or is this them hanging out by their own choices? cause i’ve seen a lot of american VAs hanging out w friends because they want to just to make videos vs these clips all being of formal events with staff present (some examples btw of what i mean by american vas having fun outside of work: The guy who voices Claude in 3H has a youtube channel where he invites VA friends to play games and review memes The genshin impact cast has played video games together a fair amount Drawfee has had a handful of VA guests who always talk highly of each other like Jonah or Kayleigh Critical Role is also an obvious example of a bunch of professionals who were friends outside of work and playing games together and started a company + they always have a bunch of VA friends on as well Faye Mata and Robbie Daymond both are universally beloved gifts who post stuff w random friends in the community)

idk anything about american VAs but for these japanese VAs, i think it's because they've been doing VA together for years in many other anime too (not only MHA), for example okamoto (bakugo's VA) and ishikawa (iida's VA) are from the same agency so they have senpai-kouhai relationship; i've seen okamoto and kaji (todoroki's VA) have this 0:20 pose for greeting each other in a lot of events. and mostly they meet privately, do stream and play games together. tbh from what i see in japanese male VAs is 'a gamer is our side job, and video games can unite us'.
