Conversations have become cancellations, and handshakes have turned into pointed fingers, all in the name of party lines, theological ideas, and personal gain.
Everyone is their own superior truth in their own mind, with five well rehearsed rebuttals to any opposition. While written during election season, this song approaches other subjects too; power, theology, and love. This song is meant to inspire unity, humility, and a desire to rise above the norms of the world. “Maybe we will get to Heaven and realize we were both wrong."

thank you so much. I was thinking the other day how rare it is to find Christian music that sounds like raw music, and it's not just meant for worship in the church and that is what you deliver to me.
Funny thing is that I find this kind of music makes for excellent worship. Not the same kind of worship as we do when we get together for a service, but singing truth from our hearts and being provoked to think about God and our walk with him? You bet that’s worship right there! :)

Three words for this video and song; creative, artistic, and valid. For the longest time it felt like some of the different promises of God were like a carrot on a stick in front of me. Then came an encounter where my eyes were opened to Jesus being our promised land and He indwells us. I know that expectancy is a part of aprhending some promises connected to call and purpose but there is so much rest that comes with understanding that we have been apprehended by promise in a union closer than close. He is my country. He is my land.

It’s hard to find Christian artists who value true, raw, meaningful lyrics AND original, skilled songs/production! Idk how im just discovering this now but i just realized that this song is how we as Christians segregated each other from different denominations. We have this whole cultural war with each other but what’s important and we all (should) acknowledge is that Jesus Christ is king and and by His grace we are saved. All the traditions and practices is what differentiates us and the only thing uniting us is JESUS. I love how instead of the “maybe we will get to heaven and realize that we’re both wrong”, in the end of the bridge it was just “Maybe we will get to heaven.” Because no matter who’s right or wrong, we all know that we will get to heaven.
