Hannah, you're doing a great job. It sounds like you're getting a routine down with little one. I love all the great projects, especially the matching socks, something they both will cherish forever. Love the linen stich .
Only Murder in the Building patterns you might want to check out are The Mabel Sweater and the Selena Cowl by Joji Locatelli and the Fika Pullover by Sari Nordlund, which isn’t inspired by the show but looks like one of Mabel’s sweaters.
I have so many things I want to cast on, but not enough time. Currently working on a Musselburgh hat for my nephew and going to cast on a gnome later today. I need to measure my birthday jumper to see if its going to fit. Pattern is The Salty Days Tee. I have just finished two Golden Hour tank tops for my 4 year old and 7 month old nieces. Great to see you. Thanks for another great episode.💜
Lovely to see you Hannah! I am currently working on a linen stitch crochet blanket out of Advents of Decembers Past , and I am having a great time finally working with all my minis.
Hi Hannah. It is great to see you. Your little ones socks you knitted are very cute and the hats are lovely. I love your shawl you are knitting too. It is hard to find time to do anything with a little baby. Maybe your little one is teething and that is why she is crying alot. Hope she settles down for you. take care.
Hi Hannah :) I also love only murders in the building and there's definitely a few themed patterns on ravelry. One that comes to mind is the Mabel sweater which i think is by Joji Locatelli. My Christmas Eve cast on package arrived yesterday, so excited to open it! See you next time x
I've misjudged baby socks before too...but if they're bigger, and for yourself, the beauty is you just knit another pair and know they'll grow into the other pair. I feel like baby and child hats are SO HARD lol. Each little noggin is so different even at the same age :( You accomplished plenty with having a baby. Matching socks, perfect. Good luck with the munchkin. I feel like I'm always casting on "something" lol.
I went to a baby and parent screening with my NCT group when our babies were tiny. Some more experienced mums didn't sit in the seats but on the floor at the front so the babies could squiggle about on blankets with a few toys.
I've knit quite a few pairs of the stretchy baby socks for my nephew and some babies of friends, and I find the sizing runs very big but I guess it's always better to be a bit bigger than smaller for baby stuff as they will eventually fit it. The socks I made for my nephew last Christmas are only just starting to fit him now.
I hope the tiny one begins to sleep again - sleep deprivation is horrible. I decided to cast on a pair of mittens for a coworker for the holidays. I don’t normally do gift knits, and almost never for people I work with unless they are leaving, but i decided to go for it since I wanted to knit them, and I had the yarn. I’m also trying not to open my Muppets advent before December but it’s been very hard to resist.
No advice just heart felt empathy for sensitive babies that need more sleep and cry. I know I've made progress on my projects but it doesn't feel like it. I decided to add a double knit band to be the hem of a tunic dress and it both looks so good and I regret how long this is taking to finish.
Hope baby’s sleep patterns get better soon for both of you. Maybe knitting Mario’s socks on the 2.25 will be harder wearing at the tighter gauge. Might be a good thing to check when you get the pheasant socks done. My husband wears through his socks so fast.
I finally finished last year's Christmas eve cast on. I've been making so much for others this year I wasn't taking time to knit for myself. I used Oh Christmas Draigg and the Stack of Books pattern (I think, it might have been the Bookshelf).
I love a hallmark cheesy Christmas film too! I think I exhausted Netflix last year of them, but a new one was released this year called ‘meet me next Christmas’ and loved it, worth a watch if you like a romantic Xmas movie ☺️
I love the S2E2 idea .. because this IS like a new season of life, so it's a new season of making.

Thank you for keeping me company at work this morning! So in awe of everything you’re getting done with a little one ❤
Love the jumper, very cosy. My Hannah's baby boy arrived on Sunday , so excited.

Love the sweater you are wearing! You're making good progress on your projects! I don't crochet but your blanket is looking great so far!!!

Im all on accessory knitting and loving that, considering indeed to go with that flow and produce some gifts… enjoy the hairdressers 🎉🎉🎉
Ooo sounds like a great plan x
For baby knits I usually ask the mom what her favorite color is since she's the one who is likely to be looking at it most.

I'd never done linen stitch before thus blanket. I'm loving it! x
I always have an accessory or five to work on when I just can't be bothered to work on the blanket. Beautiful makes Hannah 🧡
Sometimes you need a little accessory for a quick win while slogging on the larger projects! x
Those regressions are a beast! Hopefully they are almost done and everyone can get some good rest.
I'm really hoping so. It's been an intense fortnight 😅 x

I'll definitely have to have a look for that pattern! Thanks for letting me know and I hope you like your yarn 🥰 x
I came to the comments to say how much I want to make the Mabel sweater

That 4 month regression is ROUGH. It gets better!

I’m knitting some tiny scarves and kerchiefs for Xmas knits as I listen ❤I hope you’re able to go see Wicked.

If you didn't do it, you'd be looking at it and wishing you'd done it. It'll definitely be worth it x

Ooo I'll definitely check it out. If you're in the UK, Channel5 has loads of them on their My5 app x
I had my hair chopped off yesterday it's very short. But it will be hat weather soon 😂
I'm sure it looks really good! x
