A week on brexit, only eating food made or grown in the UK.
Really easy that one .... down to a local farm where they sell everything , eggs, fruit and veg, jams and sauces, cheeses and then down to a local abattoir to buy a load of meat ... The only reason people don’t do that anymore is because supermarkets made everyone lazy and made it incredibly cheap which meant local farmers had to hike their prices to survive.
A week on brexit: queue up at the bread lines whilst fresh food rots at customs borders and Jacob Rees Mogg throws silver coins at the serfs.

It’s clear you don’t have a clue what you are talking about .... do you realise how many thousands of tonnes of British grown fruit and veg is put in landfill each year because they are a bit wonky and misshapen and supermarkets won’t accept it so they go for perfectly straight EU veg that is no different in nutritional value but costs a hell of a lot more .... obviously you don’t ... that is a massive hit on farmers and massive amounts of perfectly good food that gets chucked away because people are that anal they want a perfectly straight carrot.

I think I know why the old frying pan died: using metallic tools in a non stick pan is never a good idea...
Most department store pans lose the non-stick coating in less than a year anyway even when treated like a baby, so I say have at it with whatever utensil you want lol.

Teflon, yes. Modern ceramic non-stick is much more durable.

Metal flipper on a new non-stick pan? Might be worth a little extra to get a silicone or wooden one or you won't have that non-stick surface long. Enjoying the videos though, I secretly love processed food.
Or a ceramic pan instead of teflon.
Tempted to order Mike some silicone-covered spatulas on amazon.co.uk but my cheapness will probably prevent that. And he wouldn’t use them.

Black Pudding, Crumpets, Bangers & Mash, Fish& Chips, Yorkshire Pudding , Trifle etc.
No Croissants ( they are French) , no Burgers ( they are American) ....get my drift?

Recommendation. The best supermarket chips of all are Aldi’s Specially Selected Maris Pipers oven chips. The landlady of one of my local gastropubs buys them in bulk at our nearest Aldi. If only her regulars knew...
