I was glad to see you use a white base paint on the 3rd one. It helps to move the paint. Love ALL 3 so much fire!

No. 1 is one of your best paintings! Have you seen the pink face with wide open mouth in there? Looks like if he/she/it talks 'paint' (in yellow and orange fire balls) Great!

All 3 pictures are excellently done. However, I liked the 3rd image extremely well in the process of creation, namely at the time when the cups were already flipped and the black paint was already applied, but the paints were not yet stretched. The colors began to develop wonderfully and together with the negative space resulted in a very coherent and at the same time exciting image. You might want to create an image sometime that you explain exactly at this step for ready.

Thanks Astrid - that's a very interesting observation regarding the third one. I do plan on doing some 'less is more' paintings soon as I too am a lover of the negative space elements also.

What kind of paint do you use? Or is there a video where you speak on that? I'm working on a smaller scale with acrylics. I am feeling very inspired by your big canvas. Just curious if my tube paints will cover this scale. I have experience in pouring and use floetrol.

Hi Ryder. I use enamel paints that I have made specially for me. You can learn more about them, and why I wear a mask, right here if you're interested: www.swarez.co.uk/using-enamel-paints/
I'm not that familiar with coverage using acrylics I'm afraid so I guess you'll have to have a practice and find out!!
