This episode had me rollin' with laughter. I'd totally buy Ogre's light novel. Also, I can imagine Earlf's father throwing up due to just witnessing "the miracle of childbirth"!
Apparently Agahnim also inherited his weakness to fishing equipment when Ganondorf gave him his devil fruit. I mean when you think about it, Ganondorf and Kaido are basically the same character.
(In the Sanctuary) Earlf: You okay old man? Priest: (wheezing) Yeah... I just... landed on my keys. Hrrrrk, blarg. (dies) (In the Dark World) Earlf: (yelling) Hey! Sashimi! You left the line open! Bomb Cyclops 1: One fried rabbit, coming up. Bomb Cyclops 2: Nah man, it ain't right to pick on the crazies.
The only times I have ever entered the Dark World without the Moon Pearl are 1)the mandatory parts to get into the Tower of Hera, 2) the first two times I played LotP, and 1) anytime I'm playing a randomizer and can't find it in the Light World because of shenanigans. Also, on the topic of Ganondorf being "weak" to fishing equipment, I've always felt there's lost lore of Ganondorf having had a horrible accident involving a fishing hook as a kid and now he's just PARALYZED with fear at the sight of one.
Carry on! Earlf will always remember! 5:14 - 5:23 - Can't get deader than that. 15:17 - There they are! 15:38 - 15:51 - It would be hilarious if that could actually happen. 15:50 - 16:14 - *Looks up recipes* - Hmm, interesting. There are muffin recipes that use a specific type of tofu as a replacement for eggs. Probably not quite what you mean, though. 22:00 - 22:05 - Defeat by bug catching net. Heheh. 24:30 - 24:41 - Well, at least he didn't send Earlf to that one game with the edgiest descriptions I've ever saw(The game actually isn't real, but boy... Whoever typed it up decided to go beyond 11 with it). 25:22 - 25:22 , 27:17 - 29:12 - *Laughing too hard* 32:31 - 32:56 - I forgot that that's how you get to that chest. I thought it required another item to get to it(It's been years since I've played this).
Ed, Edd and Eddy's VA's all have done roles in X Men Evolution, which is weird that there was any parallels, but I was just skimming anyway. They may all have also done a role in Inuyasha and Ranma 1/2
True men fight Agahnim with a butterfly net! I've done it several times because I'm nuts and know Agahnim very well, also this is where items with unusual uses started becoming a thing. Like the Ganondorf and the fishing rod in Twilight Princess. A bottle in Ocarina of time can be used to do the tennis match with shadow ganon. The games three level opening is finally done... now we have to get to the rest of the game now that all the portals are open. The game is technically more open world now, but I would still suggest getting the magic hammer from the dark palace first. As everyone else pointed out previously, the Moon Pearl is very much a required item that you can't avoid grabbing.
The Official Nintendo Power guide for Link to the Past + Four Swords mentions that you can use the net, but NOT the sword. Quote, "The secret to defeating him lies in the bug-catching net." It even talks about how the arc is a little wonky and you'll need to swing early to get a good rebound.
The heart piece on the right side of the Pyramid should be around the 13th one of the 24 in game theirs 2 in the light world gotten after your first warped to the dark world.
The way aga 1 works is the first attack is the normal ball you can hit back, the next 3 are a coin flip between the regular attack or the blue ball that you can't hit him with, the fifth is always lightning, then the pattern repeats
Hyrule Warriors and the warriors series in general is such a great guilty pleasure, shame HW specifically has the "can't spawn in all enemies" problem would be absolutely perfect otherwise
I think even Grandpa Gohan had to get permission via Baba to be in that tournament, though I forget if he had the halo or managed to hide it. Or Toriyama maybe added that part later in lore, quite possible.
Ogre bringing up Ed Edd and Eddy voicing anime characters made me go down a rabbithole... apparently Ocean Dub Goku is voiced by Rolf?! So Goku is the Son of a Shepard!
8:10 I tend to intentionally take a hit just so I can get rid of the sword beam. It’s annoying that it takes so long to kill enemies with it. And half the time it counts as weak beam damage even when I’m trying to swipe them with the actual blade.
I believe the sword beam does 1 damage always, even if you upgrade the sword further. Regarding deadly pots, I wish they had made it so having the Power Glove made them even MORE deadly, because you're stronger and can thus throw them harder. Wait that ISN'T Agahnim's face?! Oh my God, I never noticed that before now 😅

In this episode we two shot a boss with the ice rod

One of the first google images results for Agahnim demonstrates what Naka means.
*Looks* Ooh... Now I get it.

2:12 The more time goes by, the more I learn Ogre has good taste.
"Who throws a pot?!?!" Is all I can think of when he throws a pot and I chuckle everytime.
I love the rambling xD this episode sure was something else!

You actually can’t do anything else in the Dark World without doing the Palace of Darkness first

I did say 'technically', given you can go in to get the hammer and leave finishing the palace for later.

Tofu muffins are probably like "eggless" egg strata or something.
That wasn't the King on the throne, it was Aghanim.
6:14 That tracks. Every King of Hyrule that we've seen throughout the series has been big. It must run in the family.

This video is actually SEVENTEEN minutes long.
Because you spend the other half standing in one place and daydreaming.
Ed (Matt Hill) and Double D (Sam Vincent) voice Kira Yamato and Athrun Zala in Gundam Seed, respectively.
Damn, can't believe Aganihm is going to Gyldenhall.
Time to go beat Agahnim! …huh. I feel like we’re forgetting something for some strange reason… Eh. If we forgot it’s probably not important!
John Astin probably has done Gomez Adams more than anyone else, practically
Earlf is quest is almost over. All he has to do is beat up a wizard. I feel like I’m forgetting something oh well.

Not sure about vodka but I am willing to bet the Epic Meal guys put whiskey in oatmeal.
It’s GRR-rudo. Hyrule Warriors taught me that
“Tofu Muffin? Sounds gross.” Aganhim
Hyrule Warriors 1 is great

It's ゲルド, which might've been intended as Geldo at one point. My mind is just thinking Geld from That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime.

Randomizers sometimes include hints. If you are in one, and end up HERE, does it give a hint as to the real location of the moon pearl in any of them?
