Interesting to hear about not running things. I acquired and added all of my dad's collection when he passed. This past Christmas 2023, I had some items that had not been out of the box and run for 40 years. As I have been going thru his collection, there were things that I didn't even know he had. So, those have been even longer in the box. It is great to rotate the items to run. As for Marx items, my dad had a lot of accessories from them. Glad the show went well for you. I hope to get out there in November.
Thank you so much for mentioning me in the video. I'm so glad the the train ran for you. I really thought that the train was not going to run. Can t wait to see it finished.
No no. Thank you. The least I could do is give you a shout out. I’m currently, literally, currently in the process of replacing the wires from the motor to the light. I’ve got your email so I’ll send you short videos of the restoration
Very nice work on the Vanderbilt! Wish I could go to Wheaton, but it’s almost 6 hour drive from be. I am curious though, do you have any O gauge American Flyer locos? I have 3161 prewar flyer cars with old latch couplers and looking for a loco for them
Are those the passenger cars? The locomotives all connect to the tender the same way so if you have a loco it’s the tender that makes the difference I do have a few Available but haven’t decided which ones I want to sell yet Although having said all that, if you have the 3161 passenger cars they should have “tab & slot” couplers
@@Pvilletrainsyou got it on the tab and slot style for the passenger cars! If you decide down the road on which to sell, I’d love to buy an AF loco with tab and slot tender from ya
Marx guy here, I wish in your next video you would slow down all the fast forward at that show. So that we might witness show talk between you and your customers. Cleaning that Marx motor is something I`ve done dozens of times.
Very nice! You certainly can’t beat Marx, for ease of maintenance and restoration. Another fine video, as always.
Always enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing!

@KarnageKamikaze message me in a couple weeks to remind me that you need a loco and maybe we can work something out

I had a clip at regular speed and because of the noise there you can’t here anything worth listening to
