- This is the first 23 minutes of Final Fantasy XVI PC gameplay captured at 4K 60FPS with Ultra settings and DLSS 3 on. The Final Fantasy 16 Demo allows you to play the opening section of the game and continue your progress once the full game launches on September 17th, 2024. This was captured on a pc with an Nvidia 4090, AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D CPU, 64GB Ram, at max settings in-game and DLSS 3 turned on.

They have disappointing sales based on their target in both ffxvi and rebirth.
It's not Square trying to get dub. They're sales are terrible due to their dumb exclusivity with Playstation, limiting their sales.
Most of the people that would have bought it didn't because they were upset it wasn't a turn based rpg.

The biggest advantage of this version for me will be playing at higher resolution than ps5. The level of detail seems similar

Benchmarks coming in say you need a RTX 4090 to get base 60 fps.

Which doesn't mean much because most of the cinematics are FMV offline renders that can't scale with aspect ratios,resolution or framerates.

Ever since they made the gameplay more active rather then the turn based style since FF15, I've been hooked to the franchise.
Fornite players spend 90% of their day dead or in menu but complain about cutscenes in a story game.
it's sad, people actually like shitty games now. nothing we can really do about this but imagine if someone thinks something is good when it's really bad...

Started playing this game on the PS5 but the performance mode was very choppy, might go for the PC version.

Hope they fix the frame pacing before release, it so immersion breaking especially for a game that is so cinematic based consistent stutter is really annoying 😢

Nah bg3 was a bigger game who raised standards. Having Said that absolutely my favourite game of 2023 by a mile and it should have won more awards then music only.
But this year rebirth will take all the awards home for sure.
Love Yoshida (been playing FF14 since release) but FF16 was a massive letdown across the board.

It’s funny that PC people are gloating but people played this on 500euros ps5 but you need 1000euros or more pc gpu go run this. Some games are just better on console for the price point. Not to mention the comfort of playing these games on consoles.

The best part, We get to play their "exclusive" games with higher fidelity and higher framerates than them with the added option of modding the games. Gotta love how times have changed.

Yup, beginning is very heavy loaded with cutscenes. Actually, shortly after the moment when this video has ended more gameplay starts and it's much more balanced afterwards. There's a lot awesome gameplay in XVI :D

Didn't enjoy 16 on the PS5 cutscene heaven and no challenge even on final fantasy mode. Played better games this ain't one of them unfortunately
FFXV was better, sorry.
