The continuous swarm of front line reinforcing SCVs to counter the siege tanks got me laughing so hard that when the sudden mule mining of the enemy base started I was rolling crying. I wish I had thought of that myself. :'-D

This was fuckin fantastic. If you were in Jin's position, the strat would be to outrange everything with Siege tanks and Orbital scans right? Melon clearly never had an intention of building a army to push, so Jin could also have safely built up a massive Battlecruiser fleet to roll over the turrets as well.
this was just sad and i agree with winter banning freshmelon. i suspect he was a master level player with his ability to build and macro so many CCs, going in with a strategy of CC rush/as fuew army units as possible, and the tactics to execute it, and above all the master level fuckery at the end with the SCV army and the mass mule raid. this just screamed elite player knowing he was playing a noob and seeing how much he could fuck with him.

It's curious. The thing with a true bronze league player is experimentation. If something isn't working, they try something else. A bronze league player may know absolutely nothing about starcraft, but they know enough to realize when something is not working. Sometimes, they choose to persist with their flawed strategy, and in doing so, they learn WHY it doesn't work. Jin certainly deserves to be here as a bronze league hero. As for Freshmelon, I will say that this was an interesting experiment, but it was clearly done on purpose.

TRYING to get on Bronze League Heroes is NOT the Bronze Leage Heroes Spirit. Those who TRY to get on, are the ones that this isn't for. Its the actual noobs who are ignorant of strats/builds who like to use their own going up against others who are equally in the same space (skill not rank, mentality not league) who should qualify for BLH's. Florencio was the probably the worst offender but he still tries his cheese in GM league against others that are relatively as good as he is...sometimes and he loses as well - but he's guilty as well)
I don't know if we can say for sure if FreshMelon isn't a true bronze leaguer. He's definitely a lot better that his opponent here, but I would think a truly high level player would have at least built their turrets in firing range of their orbital commands, or at least put a few near their workers. He basically built his turrets in locations relative to his orbitals that Jin could just alternate between ground and air units to kill all the structures unopposed. He could have been just a normal bronze league player who heard about or came up with this ridiculous strat and wanted to see if he could pull it off; it could have been done much more efficiently though. The mass mule drops to mine out his opponents resources was pretty brilliant though-- it's too bad there's almost never a wise time to do that in a normal match, otherwise I'd be tempted to go back to Terran and try that out.

Neither player did anything wrong from a games rule standpoint and both enjoyed the match, but the consensus is that it wasnt really a BLH worthy match and so Winter himself says hes banned for from his own casts in the vid near the end. As for the trolling, I mean @ 15min, when its 6 established bases to 1 and the 1 has just started mining the 2nd....there's a clear disparity in skill & more importantly, experience and knowledge More so when the 6 base static defender refuses to build any actual army units beyond the rush phase and our noobie doesnt possess the micro capacity to use siege units without scv's killing them with their own splash damage....repeatedly. If 1 person of equal skill can kill the other in a macro game without making any army units and has total map control, and the other can't counter using actual counter units...they aint equal. and the one that likes to use workers to kill his opponent and is clearly the superior macro and micro player (using scv's to slash damage the opponent while the opponent doesnt even know when to unseige or at what range) - dats a trolling...

@@jbosssenpai3266 Not banned from the game, just from Winter's Bronze League Heroes castings. Neither player did anything wrong from a games rule standpoint and both enjoyed the match, but the consensus is that it wasnt really a BLH worthy match and so Winter himself says hes banned for from his own casts in the vid near the end.
As for the trolling, I mean @ 15min, when its 6 established bases to 1 and the 1 has just started mining the 2nd....there's a clear disparity in skill & more importantly, experience and knowledge
More so when the 6 base static defender refuses to build any actual army units beyond the rush phase and our noobie doesnt possess the micro capacity to use siege units without scv's killing them with their own splash damage....repeatedly. If 1 person of equal skill can kill the other in a macro game without making any army units and has total map control, and the other can't counter using actual counter units...they aint equal. and the one that likes to use workers to kill his opponent and is clearly the superior macro and micro player (using scv's to slash damage the opponent while the opponent doesnt even know when to unseige or at what range) - dats a trolling...
