Fueron grupo soporte de TEARS FOR FEAR en Vélez. Los músicos de TFF los escucharon y quedaron impresionados. Y dijeron que de haber sabido lo que era Soda Stereo no hubieran aceptado tocar después de ellos!!!
Tuve la oportunidad de ir a la gira “Me verás volver” en 2007 en México. Desde adolescente Soda ha estado siempre en mis gustos musicales, siempre la he considerado la banda más grande del rock de habla hispana, pero realmente para mi es una de mis top 5 bandas de todos los tiempos del rock en el mundo.

Soda Stereo is one of the greatest band in Rock history.... not only in spanish.... but in the whole history.... that is why one of their producers, Carlos Alomar, who was the producer of David Bowie and others has a campaign to get them into the Rock hall of fame... because is extremely unfair that Ritchie Valens and Santana are the only Latins inducted.... Soda Stereo deserves that honor as well.. they have greatest contributions than Ritchie Valens in example....tons of great songs.... talent... innovation.

As I said on another RUclips channel, I love the ending with that guitar solo with a sound very similar to the one Steve Rothery used during the recordings of Marillion's “Misplaced Childhood”, in the studio version you feel that feeling much more, and they also use a fade out to end the song which also reminds me of the song “White Feather”. As a good fan of Soda Stereo, "Final Caja Negra" is one of my favorite songs from this cult band!.. ¡Gracias Argentina por estos fenómenos de la música!.. =D

@6:15 Lol, He was a one man band and Gustavo Cerati even said it himself at one point. He said he composed 95% of the bands songs. Taking credit for the work and started a solo album in 1992 with Daniel Melero called Colores Santos. Him and Melero never performed live. But Gustavo Cerati played some of the album's songs from then and now. For example: "Cabeza de Medusa" best performance being done at Gran Rex 1999, "Hoy Ya No Soy Yo" is another great song of his. Btw the music video on that song is super fun and creative, that's a true trio that music video of Hoy Ya No Soy Yo. Which btw was uploaded by Gustavo Cerati official RUclips channel last month. The guy had a lot of creativity and energy for production. He never stayed still, always working on another musical project. Never being afraid of testing himself as an artist. Even did Syphonical songs, where he transformed his music to greater depths.
