The thing you mention about the emotional sexual connection is so true for me. I need the emotional connection first in order to really feel the full sexual attraction. When the emotional connection is suffering, my sexual desire dramatically decreases too. That has caused some serious misunderstandings in past relationships. I've often wondered how common it is for guys in general to be like this. Maybe it is just a more pronounced thing for INFPs than a lot of other types.
The last person I was attracted to immediately was screaming “freedom for all” into a megaphone with tears in their eyes. I had to remind myself it’s weird to stare with a goofy open mouthed smile at such a serious speech
Oh man how can you not sweat answering this question! Lots of answers are out there (a ridiculous amount), and still people think its not easy to attract them. Your one seems to nail it. So what I find attractive? Its not about physical appearance. Looks do matter I agree but what is more important is the bonding (how long have I been with this person, how much do I know about this person) thats all what matters. Some say the best are the enfjs and enfps, while some how I do agree with this, nonetheless, its not thats it. I want a person who wants me, needs me. Who does not give up on me. Is that too much to ask XD ? I want someone who is astute (is good with moral judgement and has ethics), oooh now I'm getting too demanding here😂. Want someone who is kind to youngsters, respects elders and knows how to conduct themself. I want somebody who's not too simpleminded or somebody who's too depraved off ignorance with their knowledge. A humble and simple human, who can do embarrassing things and enjoy life. Who's not too rigid but also at the same time not so open minded that they lose the sense of distinction between what is appropriate and what is not.
You just described what a normal adult human being should look like. Unfortunately nowadays, whimin are mentally and emotionally stuck at the age of 5.
@@ROForeverMan you're probably living in a type of toxic environment. Travel to a place where there are still humble people and you'll see the difference. Sometimes what you need to do is change your environment. Otherwise the same could be said for men too.
@@Gjakdjruknownhpjs lol. That toxic environment is called "human species". Just look at statistics, 80% of divorces are initiated by whimin. What more evidence do you want ?
Ah, but Amélie and Nino, INFP and ISFP... worth waiting for!! They even had a rollercoaster ride in the depths of the (archetypal) imagination. Trust your ❤.
I used to be very shallow and only date good looking men and now in my 30s the emotional connection is not negotiable. You can be absolutely gorgoeus but if you dont connect with me emotionally and support me and love me the sexual tension just isnt there.
My husband is an ESTJ, he is always plowing forward with his goals and pursuits. We have been married for 33 years and for the first 20 years of our marriage, this usually drove me crazy because he never seemed to embrace the moment. Why can't we just relax sometimes? I know that I drove him crazy as well. His mind was always in the future and I seem to literally be unable to plan for the future! However, over the last 10 years or so, I've started to open up to his way of thinking and I have actually developed new skills! I learned that it actually feels good to pay off debt, among other things.
💗😊💕I’m an INFP. Hubby is an ESTJ, which is the exact opposite of me. Im glad I found out about our personality types, it helps me understand him more.💕😊💗

I find someone who is calm in stressful situations, and a great problem solver highly attractive. Because those are qualities i dont have.
