How to make pancake bird feeders

Give your feathered friends a treat this Shrove Tuesday with these homemade 'pancake' stack feeders! Rebecca gives us a step by step guide for this simple and fun activity.
You will need:
Bird Food Seed Mix. You can also add grated cheese, peanuts and insects for birds which are all available in your local supermarkets and some local shops
2 Lard blocks (or more if you want to make a ‘super stack’)
Bowl
String
Something to make a hole (handle of spoon or pen/pencil is fine)
Optional - shallow lid to make pancake shape. Large yogurt pot lids work well
