Hello from Nova Scotia Canada. I have been watching you for awhile now and just wanted to say thank you so much for the content and for your humour! My favourite BBQ item would have to be ribs!
@davkaufmaneatstheworld I think I'm going to go to Joe's and the pet store you featured on reptile adventures. I'm getting super excited! Come on summer! I'm headed to Deadwood, South Dakota, from Arkansas.
We used to live a block from this Joe's. They are my favorite. My brother is a Jack Stack guy. Recently we tried Buck Tui, a Thai barbecue fusion. It was great!
Joe’s is my favorite place for ribs, BB’s Lawnside for pulled pork. Slaps and Joes tie for burnt ends plus Slaps turkey is phenomenal. The best sides and appetizers goes to Q39 and Jack Stacks. There’s nothing better than a weekend in Kansas City eating BBQ and tailgating at Arrowhead
I know this is a departure from because this is your food adventure but I'm still blown away on your boa video. That was awesome and I'm sure ill watch that again.
Smoked turkey is really good! I stuff mine with pineapple, peaches and pears . And put 1/2 stick of butter in for good measure. Once it’s done I let it rest for 10 minutes and melt the other 1/2 stick and drizzle it on. I use mesquite for the smoker , usually that one gets wiped out before the one that I cook conventionally in the oven. My g-kids got me figured out , dangg - it . 😊
I've never been to Kansas City. The best barbecue that I ever had was when I lived in Ohio. My mom and dad worked together to make it and I told them they should open a BBQ restaurant. i'm not sure if you consider Cajun cooking is a form of barbecue; but, when I first moved here where I live now, we had a small family run restaurant called Mama's Cookin' Cajun. It was so good. Chris was the best co-host.
Slaps is my favorite. No cow combo with fries is my order. Joe's is right down the street so that's just dangerous for me. Z-Man on texas toast with onion rings is the order.
If you want the real KC BBQ get LC’s, Smokehouse, Gates. What I don’t like about the places that they visited,it’s not that they’re not good. It’s just that it’s all competition barbecue and they’ve adapted more of a Texas style barbecue, which is known for not putting sauce on.Thats not Kansas City bbq
So who's channel is it now? White guy or Black guy? It don't matter, but I am in KC and so is the Black guy. I would like to see a BB's BBQ review. I am a new sub!
Some of these places are KCK BBQ specifically Wyandotte. IJS If you don't know the difference, look at the police cars, it def will tell you so you're not confused. KC and KCK are two different places, hell, two different states. And should be Deafferented. And the thing that's troubling is you all dont even know what the best in Kansas is. K&M is the best by farrrrr. Slaps def isn't K&M.
@ Totally understand. I’ve been a Chiefs fan since they came to KC many years ago. Lots of lean, disappointing years. It makes these incredible last few years even more special.
Glad you got some good KC bbq! Chris is the man, love seeing my Kansas friend on here!!!
He's awesome! We'll do another vid together soon!
@ you two need to check out LC’s bbq! Not as fancy looking of a building but the food is by far my favorite in KC!
Made me hungry Dav, yummy 😋
Chris was an excellent co-host! There isn't much that could bring me all the way to Kansas City, but Joe's and those sides at Slaps might be it.
Yes he was!
Dude, how do you have less than 10k followers? Your content is always entertaining!
Thank you! It's still a new channel but it's growing fast!
🗣️..Top 3 Jack Stacks, Joe's BBQ,& Slaps ..In That Order..BAM ‼️💥🏌🏾
I'll have to try Jack's next time I'm down
😂😂 they all suck ass get real dude.
Hello from Nova Scotia Canada. I have been watching you for awhile now and just wanted to say thank you so much for the content and for your humour! My favourite BBQ item would have to be ribs!
Hello from Minnesota! I appreciate you tuning in!
Hit my favorite 3 places!! Chef J has me curious and is next for me to try.
You'll have to let me know how it was
Looks great. I love a good brisket!
Me too!
#1 - Q39
#2 - Joes KC
#3 - Jack stacks
You two are amazing together, invite him on more videos. One of your best food videos in my opinion.
Your Kansas City videos are making me wish I wasn't just going to drive thru town. Yummy! That dirty rice at Joe's looks amazing
You should at least stop at one of these places
@davkaufmaneatstheworld I think I'm going to go to Joe's and the pet store you featured on reptile adventures. I'm getting super excited! Come on summer! I'm headed to Deadwood, South Dakota, from Arkansas.
Scrumptious diliumptious, have an awesome day and week dāv
Thanks Clistia! You too!

If I lived a block from Joe's, I would just go ahead and buy stock in the company lol
Anyhow, Love your show !
Keep up the great work.
P.S. Can we get a sushi/sashimi comparison please ?
Glad you're enjoying and that's a great idea!
@@davkaufmaneatstheworld Strangely enough, KC has an amazing sushi scene also.
What a cool adventure. I'm so hungry now!
I know! If I lived there I know where I'd be eating all the time!
So I live in Springfield Missouri Kansas City is not far away I'm going to go there this weekend try one of these places
Awesome! I hope you enjoy them

You can’t beat the beans at Jack Stack! Heaven in a bowl.🥰
All those looked great
They really were
You're hilarious. Subbed.
Thank you!
not getting the burnt ends or fries at Joes is sociopathic stuff
I know this is a departure from because this is your food adventure but I'm still blown away on your boa video. That was awesome and I'm sure ill watch that again.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed!
Get out of KC just a little bit and go to Bate's City BBQ. My favorite
Thanks for the suggestion!
18:29 - Dude you chose all the right items!!!!!!
We thought so too!
Smoked turkey is really good!
I stuff mine with pineapple, peaches and pears . And put 1/2 stick of butter in for good measure.

Yum!
That's quite a gas station restaurant! letting an ad play while I type a comment before watching more.
Nice!
This is right up there with Mark Wiens.... enjoy both but we need to get you to at least a hundred grand!
Thank you! I appreciate the compliment. My channel is only a year old so I'll get there.

Chris was the best co-host.
Cajun cooking is like BBQ's cousin. If I'm ever in the area I'll have to check that out!
Chris was a bad ass cohost! I know who to hit up when I'm out that way! And damn I'm hungry now
He definitely knows his barbecue and he's an awesome guy!
where are the black bbq businees?
LC and Gates are 2
Big Ts
You can tell the food was good ..both of you had your eyes going back like you were going into a BBQ coma with a seizure or 2 😂
It was pretty close to that!
Did I miss Gates??? Rookies. Gates is kc original bbq. 5 locations for a reason.....
I'll have to try that next time
Five locations and I’d pass by all of them to go to a different place. But, that’s just my opinion.
@@brendafrazier811. Same here. Gates sucks.
Gates is part of bbq trinity
Exactly..Gates is the original
I live in Southern Minnesota...therefore I've had to do my own BBQ because it's a hotdish wasteland here.
Lol. Yeah I've noticed
The burnt ends of a prime rib is the best. That's where all the flavors are.
For sure!
Slaps is my favorite. No cow combo with fries is my order. Joe's is right down the street so that's just dangerous for me. Z-Man on texas toast with onion rings is the order.
I have to try the Z-Man next time
Joes is my favorite. I wish you would have critiqued the sauces, very important part of them all
That could be a video all to itself

I appreciate the comment and the suggestions!
True
You're killing me, Dav!
How come you never see ox tail on a bbq menu?
That's a really good question
So who's channel is it now? White guy or Black guy? It don't matter, but I am in KC and so is the Black guy. I would like to see a BB's BBQ review. I am a new sub!
So why ask if it dont matter 😅
Sorry, but every BBQ place in KC is good. Some are a lot better than others.
Dirty rice, beans with ribs and a side of coleslaw please.
Some of these places are KCK BBQ specifically Wyandotte. IJS If you don't know the difference, look at the police cars, it def will tell you so you're not confused. Sorry about the Vikings! Go Chiefs!
Unfortunately to be a Vikings fan is to be disappointed year after year, but I'll always be a fan regardless
@ Totally understand. I’ve been a Chiefs fan since they came to KC many years ago. Lots of lean, disappointing years. It makes these incredible last few years even more special.
Rochester has John Hardys BBQ pretty hard to beat, but you have to get the big boy sauce, and MN will never win a sb 😂
I'll have to check that out!
Slaps is trash
KC BBQ is the worse.
Huh, you chose the consonant, instead of buying a vowel. Interesting choice.
🤡
The worsT bbq in KC is better than the best anyone else has got.
@@woodchucknation 🤣
The bbq restaurants suck ass here, I've never understood how people think the bbq is good here.
Dirty rice, beans with ribs and a side of coleslaw please.
Yes!
