- The Mikoyan MiG-35 (Russian: Микоян МиГ-35; NATO reporting name: Fulcrum-F) is a Russian multirole fighter that is designed by Mikoyan, a division of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC). Marketed as a 4++ generation jet fighter, it is a further development of the MiG-29M/M2 and MiG-29K/KUB fighters. The first prototype was a modification of the aircraft that previously served as a MiG-29M2 model demonstrator. Mikoyan first officially presented the MiG-35 internationally during the 2007 Aero India air show.
The single-seat version is designated MiG-35S and the two-seat version MiG-35UB. The fighter has vastly improved avionics and weapon systems, notably new precision-guided targeting capability and the uniquely designed optical locator system, which relieves the aircraft from relying on ground-controlled interception systems and enables it to conduct independent multirole missions. There is also an option for AESA radar.

@@mohamedabdelrohman3860 Yaah. Even in Indian Airforce in the MMRCA project, Mig 35 is best option. But we will not but Mig 35s in their original form. Just like Sukhoi 30 MKi, we will take Mig 35s after it changes itself according to the needs of Indian Airforce and Mikoyan company is in continuous touch with our Indian Government. Just like the World rejected a best Aircraft Rafael just for some faults in it and heavily wrong information spread by USA on it but India took the Rafaels, did some upgradation and even proved it to be a very sufficient Aircraft to handle even the 5th Generation Aircrafts, India will soon buy upgraded version of Mig 35, will again do some upgradation and then will make world admire the Mig 35s.
Russia is very eager to sell it to India as she even rejected Pakistan's request for buying Mig 35s.......
Because it knows India is the best and biggest Market and India will manufacture it on by own and hence no load will be there on Russia.

The MIG-29 was the most beautiful jetfighter ever build. I'm glad to see the design lives on in the stunning MIG-35. And it's an American who's saying this.

Ты не путай миг 29 с миг 31 и 35 это разные самолёты их роднит лишь внешний вид!!! А всё остальное абсолютно разное начиная с движка заканчивая с компьютера

Can you imagine this plane in the hands of talented Argentine pilots. The English would stop tanning in the Falklands.
F35s would take them down before they even get close.
Ask the Malaysians about the ease of getting spare parts from the Russians or the Indian navy about how those Klimov engines are working for them. Same engine on the -29k as the -35. Good luck against the RAF
As a Serbian Pilot of Mig 29, I can say:
Give me a Mig 35 in a fully working order and pray for any English or American in the air.
Forget about Hollywood movies. In reality, one on one no many chances for any English of American jets.
