- Jan 7, 2021, Lake Couchiching is frozen to the depth of around 6-10ft. There were about 100 huts out there because this is the only part of Simcoe that was frozen enough to walk on so it was pretty busy. But none the less, we caught some fish and didn't go home empty handed. Enjoy.

Photography, travel, outdoors and gear, if I were looking into those categories, Cheese might not be a word i'd use to search. Just some constructive criticism this morning. Did that 12v dewalt drill have enough to drill the hole( how many holes could it do?) good video
Yup, we did about 8 holes that day and it still had tons of juice left. Kept it warm inside the hut but it's more important to have a nice auger. We had an old 8 inch rapala auger on the Milwaukie with a dull blade and mine was a brand new 6 inch on the dewalt. Mine went thru like butter with just the weight of the setup, no force added. The Milwaukie, even tho it's a more powerful drill, struggled. My advice is keep those blades sharp and you'll get more out of your drills.
Looks like you guys had fun! Was this shot on the 7th as well? I heard it's been real crowded on the lake these past few days cause it's the only area with ICE near simcoe.
It sure has, there's gotta be 100 tents when we were walking out. Got a lot quieter later in the day and thats when we caught the fish
I Need your help. Your crane M2 video with the hero 9 inspired me to get one. I just received my M2 however there is no option for the M2 on the Zy app. Do you have any recommendations?
I never used the app, everything is self contained in the M2 menu system. I chose the light setting in the motor strength for the gopro, and that's all I changed.

From what I read, it is as long as you have your own hut and you drive up there by yourself. I'm planning on heading out there again next week.
