Bought one of these off Amazon and it lasted about 4 months before it finally burned out.
Ended up buying a Blizzard fan for about $30.00 and modified to fit the bracket clip mount of this fan and used that for about 3 months and still works fine but is now in my drying tent. I just ordered a 3D printed fan mount bracket specific for this fan off ETSY that should work better.
I am now using two AC Infinity S6's in my flower tent...hoping these last me at least a couple of years.

Oscillating clip fans are definitely the way to go. Having it at an angle will shorten its life,just so you know. Alltho i have it at an angle aswell for the best circulation. Can always get a new one 🤷♂️

It seems to forever be out of stock (US), though I was lucky enough to order one. This fan, and clip design is a winner for sure! Just got mine in the mail today, but I am impressed with it. The design is much better than most clip fans.
I got this same fan about a month ago, and hell yes this thing for its size moves Hella air

Ive noticed there is a shortage of good reliable tent fans for sale. And a lot of them, you cant even fully adjust how they mount with the proper angles as the plants get taller. Im working with a manufacturer using quality parts like a copper motor instead of aluminum and a better mounting design. Im working towards a fan that will actually last and also provide good air movement. What do you all think a good price would be? Im thinking about $40 because I didnt skimp on quality parts. Do you think that sounds a fair? Do you think I may be better off using some cheaper parts to get price point down so I can offer it cheaper? Or stick with a quality construction and charge a bit more for it? I plan on selling them on Amazon really soon but would love some feedback first. If you are interested, please contact me

Watch Out Mr Beard. All most caught my house on fire. If I just happen to check on my plants and this fan was on fire.
I have heard iv personally had one stop but no issues aside from that. The blue blade one had alot of issues. However they have a new white blade v2 model out and they seem to be better so far

Darn I just ordered two clip ins for my tent and use one in our bedroom because just clipping the other one would just he a hassle
Are you using a intake fan of any kind or do you just open the side vent ?
i have hoses hooked up to an intake fan at the window, but normally only draw in air passively, i only turn on that fan when i need to cool the tents down.

Q. do the instruction suggest that you run the fan level, while oscillating?
There was no instructions. Its just a fan mate but i found even low was very fast
@@CannaBeardGrows you may find running it at an angle puts too much strain on the oscillator, Ill be watching with interest
This fan lasted me a whole 4 months. I was so mad but luckily I was able to take clip off and put on another fan I've had for 4 years so far.
What fan lasted 4 year?

I checked the link for the fan. It doesn’t appear to be the same fan. Doesn’t show the pole style clip, which is key. Is it the same fan they just don’t show the new style clip?

nice clip and the fan works well but my oscillating mechanism stripped out in one night because it hits the sides of the tent, I would not recommend letting this fan oscillate on a corner pole. Hangin it from a ceiling pole would probably be fine.
Ordered two of these.
Piece of shit fan stopped functioning almost immediately.
Other people say theirs spontaneously exploded.

If they lasted longer, they would make awesome fans for grow tents. I ordered 10 of them, and I only have 4 of them left that still work after 7 months.

Total beginners question. Does the arrow on the extractor fan go towards or away from the carbon filter.
depends if your carbon filter is in the tent at the start or outside, but the arrow means air goes that way

yes have the fan suck on the carbon filter and push out the hose. you get me? and its all good mate im still learning myself. we all start somewhere

Well, too bad I didn't read further in the comments. I just ordered two directly from Vivisun.
They did state that the new version has better bearings.
Best thing is they were 60% off. If they crap out quickly, they're on PayPal and my credit card. I'll just get a refund.

Trash. Most stopped working and after multiple fires 🔥 vivosun recalled them. . Stick with normal fans atm no one makes a GOOD small osolating tent fan
There sold out everywhere as far as I know for the new style I was trying to purchase on the other day

Hi, great fan but how did you decide location within the tent? is it opposite air flow window at bottom of tent where air flow comes in? or same side as air comes in? thank you!
Stay farawayfrom these. They recalled them all as they were shorting out and even started a few fires 🔥 be warry of all small fans like this .

Never mind that was pure stupidity little option I thought was to select amount of fan was for style of fan. Strange that just a clip change almost doubles the fan price still is best fan so cant complain.
I agree its a bit pricey but i honestly love my fans

They'd probably make more money selling the clips that are universal for all small fans because the fans they sell are junk. I bought two, one quit oscillating after 4 months. 50/50 casualty rate on the fans :(
These fans are crap the gears stopped working in one I have writhing a month. The second ones motor burned out within on week. I had these on a timer that even gave them a break for a hour a day when the lights where off.
all of mine still work & they have a new updated vr that are much better. as yes the old ones had a few issues sadly, I got lucky i guess
Vivosun have great products but I think that they buy cheap product from china and print Vivosun on them... The price inflate with the name vivosun on their product...

Bought this fan and with in 2 weeks it just died . Sent it back to Amazon and ordered another one . It came and it had not clip in the box , just the fan part . Sent that back to Amazon . Ordered another one and it came with all the parts , 2 days later it stopped oscillating . Frustrated I gave up and sent that one back too .

Yup tower fans are probably your safest cheap bet

this is what i mean the link the have has 3 dif fans on it, the default units are desk fans, i think u didnt add the right unit to your cart mate, iv dont this a few times, no shade , but i bet thats what happened, as the pole clip is about 2x the cost and the second on the page.

Heads up, Vivosun fans are prone to catching on fire. Look inside to check for poor solder jobs or mechanical defects. Regardless, I'm looking for a new fan.

CannaBeard Grows mine just stopped a few hours ago after 6 weeks In use and let out a bad smell that hasn’t gone away. There is some oil on the fan guard. I just hope it didn’t ruin anything, on week 8. That smell!!!
