Can you make it so that we can enable the english subtitles ourselves? Because sometimes when im trying to immerse i can't hold back and just look at them. I really like these videos.
The one thing I am paying attention aside from learning Japanese is, paying attention to the sounds and stuff. Because I never want to just do half way of just learning words and writing on the keyboard. But completely and permanently altering my accent to that of a Japanese as well when I speak and make it my primary way of speaking in that accent and throw out my old accent. Because it just would not feel right not having the japanese accent to go with it that makes it have that beautiful distinctive sound. Accent is important to me.

Ciao Yusuke-san, as italian I would like to tell you my toughts, I hope it can help in your new job. It is correct, it is important to know the culture your students come from. Because japanese culture is very unique and it is easy to misunderstand each other. When my wife speaks italian, sometimes she makes a mistake because she simply translates literally from japanese. I sometimes do the same kind of mistake speaking japanese. As italian, I can say we are like in South america, latin people, we usually say what we really think, and we know how to not get offended by other people 's thoughts. We are in free countries, right? We are free to have our own ideas. Yes, it is true that our relationship with teachers is very friendly. But we do not consider it a lack of respect at all. I respect a lot a good teacher, and at the same time, I feel I'm his friend. About kindness, yes, nowadays people is so mentally fragile!. You made me remember when I was a young karate practitioner, my sensei always finished the lesson by saiyng: your karate is ugly!! You are weak!! And I felt happy because it made me want to practice even more. And that time (once at year more or less) he told me: well done Leonardo. I was so proud!. But things changed....

Recently in Japan, the relationship between students and teachers has become more like that in the West. But things changed.... ↑ Yeah, changing with the times is not only a bad thing, it also produces good things.
people are not becoming mentally weaker but have to deal with a lot more mentally straining things in every day life. I'm not saying life was easier back then but the type of hardships one would acounter were different, therefore other parts of people's resources were challenged
