  • My review and test ride of the iconic Suzuki GSXR 1300 Hayabusa. Riding from Bolton Motorcycles over Rivington and Belmont. Beautiful scenery on country roads and some motorway riding too.
Thankyou to Bolton Motorcycles for letting me ride and review this motorbike.

19:17 Gee Tee, the CBX 1000... just like the Busa gen3 both are, they are so lovely to ride! Today I realize more and more what a beautiful time I have experienced! Thanks for your vid and bringing back good times gone by! They won't come back... So take advantage of it while it lasts! 😎

Awesome piece of engineering. You really do need to keep an eye on the Speedo, 80 mph felt like 40 to me. Great bike.

262 kg, guy in america just weighed his with very full fuel tank.
My gen3 black Busa (Australia) got quite a hot frame and ouch on my legs doing a 50kph slow beach run on a sunny afternoon, so it does get hot. Was only 250km on the bike at the time so might run cooler when fully run in, hasn't been that hot since.
Really happy with it, it's a total pussycat below 4k, then at 4k the cat starts to get grumpy, then 5k up it turns into a snarling wildcat beast of a thing. Huge fun. 😁

@@awesomeagnihotrisvlog quite comfortable. Footpegs are a bit high, ok for me but might be a problem if you are very tall.
Some weight on my wrists, but you expect that on a "sport" style bike.
It's not as comfortable as a proper touring bike but I think it's good.
The suspension comfort is very good, like the road bumps just disappear. 🙂

Hi Buddy from South Africa 🇿🇦 . I just sold my BMW R1250rt (just could not get used to a boxer motor) I am now waiting for stock availability on the gen 3. Will probably get one late November, can't wait.....
thanks for a great review, keep safe

Hi Zunaid, You'll love it. My Tracer feels so lacking in power in comparison now. Can't believe how nimble that Busa is, amazing. Thankyou for your comments.

I’d be interested on your thoughts when you get your Busa on comfort levels compared to the RT.

Hi Zunaid, fellow South African here (Centurion, JHB). I was on the Ducati 1299S and then i moved to the Gen 2 Hayabusa (2017). As i turned 40 i just wanted something more comfy for our long club rides. Was so impressed with its torque, smooth power delivery and long distance comfort, that i committed to the Gen 3. Suzuki SA wants a 100K deposit to secure one. First shipment is sold out (Expected end-October) and 2nd shipment is mostly spoken for. 3rd shipment arrives in March 2022. They are fantastic machines. Yes i cannot corner like i could on the 1299, but it will take you round corners fast enough. So definitely keep your eye out late Nov. The ones that will stand on showroom floors, will go very fast.

@@shalengajadhar5653 Hey there bud. I used to live in Laudium, but moved out...
I have managed to secure a unit for about 3 week delivery. I have opted for a silver. I am hoping to meet you on the road someday. Are you also trading your gen 2 in for a the 3?

@@zunaidkajee4540 Hey thats awesome. Just went today (02 October to KCR Suzuki) and took some photos on the White/Blue demo. And its so awesome you secured a unit! The Black/Gold is more difficult to get. I spent some time speaking to Clint from Suzuki SA today. He said the Black/Gold is sought after. 49 Units being brought in, with a total of 80 Units in the country by end-Jan 2022. He said there is a special on the cowl + high rise screen for R5300. Speak to your dealer about that. Yes, sold my Gen 2 to move funds towards Gen 3, and a full Akro system.

Great review. Practical and to the point of rider experience instead of catalogue data. I plan to get one next spring. I'll put a bar riser on it to alleviate the wrists, slap on a Kriega bag or two and ride until the sun goes down.

That's great news Steve, I would love to own one too. I think both colour schemes are great but the black and gold is particularly attractive. Awesome machine, pleased for you and also a little jealous. Happy riding pal.

      Hi Agnihotri
The bmw is a fantastic motorcycle and was very comfortable, but the Hayabusa is in another league, yes its a more lean forward style riding but its just so intoxicating!,
I have no regrets buying one.
      Kind regards.
      Steve.
