      @@SunnyKindJourney You just keep being you and doing what you do so well. I feel that RUclipsrs deserve compensation for their efforts, especially when their efforts are so inspiringly important...or should that be importanly inspiring? For me, you are the meditative calm for my week, and that, my friend, is just the ticket. BTW: where did you learn your mastery of the English language? Your vocabulary is better than some college graduates I know.

    I live in the United States. I am sure you know a bit about what is going on here right now. Living in dire times gives one perspective. What other people think about my frugal lifestyle has become the absolute LEAST of my concerns.

    Fantastic video! The onion bit kind of blew my mind. I just realised that, that is what meditation is doing for me. It's such a relief to be able to recognise and let go of all the silly ideals ingrained in me from childhood... The examples were really helpful.

    Interesting videos,i like your channel,i have one "big" problem wich is to mostly know quiet well what would be the right thing to do depending on the situation in a clever way,but in my case the problem is to actually use those in the actual moment wich can again be frustrating,exactly because deep inside i"know" the right decision,i guess it takes time,patience and perseverance..and be honest with myself,anyway,not an easy one to handle at all,sorry,completely out of topic here :) anyway continue with your great content

    • @SunnyKindJourney
      @SunnyKindJourney  3 месяца назад +2

      I think it depends how you view it. A lot of self help books have the same information, just different concepts. For me this book was great to take more control of my life. Obvious rules are everywhere, what matters is what you will do once you know them

      Sometimes what you need to hear is so annoyingly simple and straightforward, but you need to hear it in a certain way and at a certain time.
      For me, the biggest takeaway that I had from this book was “you only have so many 🦆s to give in your life; use them wisely.” I still think about it sometimes, but forget about it more often than I’d like.
      Another similar book where the advice seems obvious but the delivery is fantastic, btw, is Atomic Habits. If you’re ever looking for a self help rec that will just help in general in your life, everyone recommends it for a reason! If I could choose just one book that changed my life, it’s Atomic Habits!

    I've been thinking about buying this book. I feel a bit discouraged sometimes because most people I know have this on their shelves and everybody's reading it. But after watching this, I feel like it's time.

    • @SunnyKindJourney
      @SunnyKindJourney  3 месяца назад +2

      Go for it, I bet you'll learn a lot! Just remember to apply the things in the book, that was the biggest part for me, otherwise it could be just another book on the shelf 😊 Thanks for watching!
