He's a proper goon savage but he's right. If you've played any decent level football you'll know that even if you win and you play shit it always affects you
I wanted them to ask Savage the reverse, how he would feel if he'd played great but lost.
The same way, your pissed.
as much as I hate Robbie Savage, he's right about being depressed if you're performing badly in a winning team. You have to justify your place.
Fred Flintoff never knew what it was like to get dropped (because he was just that good). So of course he would feel happy when lesser established guys like Rob Key and Simon Jones did well.
Savage is bang on right.
How often do these three do a show?
Feels very Monday night football Neville Carragher like
Think Savage has a point you can win play bad and lose you’re place quite easily in football
Agree with rob with wanting to play well when we win
Respect for Freddy!
I love Freddie
I get where Savage is coming from but Freddie is spot on about how he has a responsibility to set an example in the dressing room. If you’re not happy with your performance, so what? Grow the fuck up and take responsibility.
Did not really have a lot of time for savage, but watching this and seeing him take a joke on the chin, gone right up in my estimate!!
Freddy missed the point because he was playing well but not getting wickets that’s what confused him, it would be the same if his economy was horrendous, no wickets, batted badly got no runs but England won that would be the same.
Miss this pod. What happened for it to stop?
Robbie was actually right in this
Nah, he's an idiot who doesn't know anything about cricket, he was really disrespectful to Freddie.
Haha 100 million people out of India. More like 900 million.
"Did you have a verruca" hahaha
“It was 2-0, we were winning....it was 0-0...right, Steve Bruce....we won but I was raging”. Got ya, Robbie.
Adam Carr I was mildly paraphrasing you, Robbie. It’s close enough for me. Thanks for the feedback though.
@@Mr-zx8fu So you lied to suit your argument.
Mr Blue I didn’t make an argument, babe.
I thought it was hilarious
1:34 just made me laugh so much😂😂
"Mrs Doubtfire!"
😀😁😂
Get Robbie Savage to India. You know, 4 times the populatin of the USA!
Why do half of them wanna live in the UK?
@@solidcake3401 They don't.
Wow. Wow😂😂😂
Is there anywhere to watch the full episode
Savages mentality shows why he never made it as a top player
Rubbish, not a Savage fan as a player. Skill is why he never made it as a top player, he is Roy Keane without the top level skill.
Think it always will come back, somewhat, to your personality. Some people are always self deprecating and want to prove everyone (including themselves) wrong, and others are just happy to be a part of a team and winning. My guess would be Freddie wasn’t half as annoyed EVER as Robbie was with the basic shit
HTF did Savage make the professional ranks ? He was shite
He's also very rich
Cricket is not a team sport.. batsman v bowler..
It is both
It's a collective of individual battles rather than a proper team sport
So you don't want non-striker to run for a single and fielders to stop runs?
@@compaccount3086 absolutely no one said that it's in no way a team sport. But in most instances it's a batsman vs a bowler
@@BigWes95 cricket is a team sport because of the psychology, strategy, and fielding. That's why someone like Mike Brearley (who was an average batsman) could transform a team's fortunes when he stepped in as captain. In terms of group psychology, look at how Michael Vaughan handled difficult personalities like Kevin Pietersen and Freddie Flintoff, while Strauss and Cook struggled.
Batting is mostly an individual sport - although you need to adjust your play depending on who you're batting with, and also adjust according to the dynamics of the match... this is the difference between an individualist, stats-driven batsman like Geoff Boycott (the cricket equivalent of Ruud van Nistelrooy), and a team-oriented batsman like Steve Waugh.
Bowling is massively dependent on the fielding and the dynamic between the bowlers - do you play 5 slips and go for the edge? Do you play two strike bowlers, or do you block an end with an economical bowler? Do you tempt the slog and leave a catcher out for it? Does the keeper step up to the medium pacer for the stumping? Do you try to faze the batsman with a short catcher in his eyeline? These are all team decisions that involve multiple players executing their roles effectively.
Flintoff is a proper goon seen him refuse to sign a fans book Cos it wasn't endorsed by him. All show for the TV in real life arrogant goon
voode vood ok mate 👍
No one cares about cricket
