I agree. The only thing this apartment has going for it is the lanai doors to the outdoor space. Honestly if the balconies were about three feet deeper it wouldn't hurt either. The furnishings are certainly not to my taste but hey... I don't live there!!
The layout of that open plan space is unusual, the entire room is large but why have such a cramped TV area? The architect should've made the kitchen larger and have an included dining area... If I had over £8mil to spend, it would be a fast no on this property.
Big apartment, no doubt, but you can't compare this view with the ones of Albert Embankment, Jubilee Garden, Blackfriars, or any area close to Tower Bridge. You can find interesting flats for this price or less.
Looks like the developers prioritized profit above quality. Low ceilings to sell a extra floor. Bad demo furniture. Only the view is prime but they had nothing to do with that 😅
I was loving this appartment, until I saw the closet kitchen. With 5 bedrooms, chances are it will be a family living there, so that kitchen is sub standard.
When viewing flats/apartments may I suggest that you mention whether the prices are leasehold or freehold? Most are generally leasehold and in those instances what is the length of the lease and what sort of service charges are there.
the ceilings are so low it feels claustrophobic especially in the entryway, you can tell they tried to cram in as many units as they could within the building height limit.
When you think what that money could buy you somewhere else and the amount of land and garden you'd get with it then that becomes about a £5m view - its good but not that good but nothing like that good...
First thing you’d need to do is redecorate, the interior design is a bit gaudy and dated in the main areas, but the bones are good, it could be a great space.
I appreciate that this is an apartment in London, but 8million 'really' compared to so many that you have shown on this channel I would not touch this one, people living all.around and above you, I would hate it, you have featured stately manors for less money
Nowhere near the best water front apartment for sale in London ?? Directly behind the London Eye a penthouse apartment for sale for £17M ….. try and show it on your Chanel ?
Roman Abramovich is categorically not living in the penthouse. No one is. It's been available for sale since the building was completed and is still for sale to this day.
The kitchen is built for a chef to cook for you. A kitchen that you actually want to live in would be designed very different. A dark tunnel is obviously built for staff.
Yes but there’s no separate entrance or room for staff so they walk through the apartment. If it was flr the cook they could have had a door from the kitchen to the adjacent bedroom.
@@jonathanpaulhooley4159 his yachts are a lot better then then his apartment which he can use, he has got a property outside the U.K. which he can use 🤪
I like you're videos in general. But in this case, using Abramovich as a reference knowing what is going on in the world is a bit tasteless, I would say.
I wish that you wouldn't say "very" unique. Something is either unique or not unique. There are no degrees of "uniqueness". You could say very unusual.
You really wish or need to live in central London to buy this! You can do far better in Richmond for half the price. The view from the tiny balcony is really uninspiring.- a rather muddy river and a built up area.
Great tour as always. This apartment will appeal to some for sure but it's not for me. This part of the Thames is quite boring so the view is not so special. The décor is quite heavy and oriental for my taste. My family & friends love to gather around in the kitchen and we love to entertain but the galley style kitchen in this property is quite ridiculous, especially considering the asking price. It's a shame because this is a large property. The overall layout is a big missed opportunity.
Its very nice but not 8.3 Million Pounds nice!. The floor plan is not well designed. The Kitchen is extremely small, with zero natural light. The views are amazing and its the highlight. I think this apartment is good for investment rather than living.
Bed 4 needs to be turned into a walk in robe for an apartment at that price range. Anyone wealthy enough to buy this place is going to look at the master robe and laugh. You could put a sauna in the bed 4 bathroom. Better still, just turn that whole side of the apartment into the master and make it a 3 bedder. The interior needs gutting, it is God awful for that much cash.
What a tacky decor. And a very poorly designed apartment for £8 million. That kitchen is disgustingly small. You could have sacrificed a bedroom, had 4 bedrooms and the 5th a big kitchen/ family breakfast area. Yup very badly designed. The kitchen is like an afterthought.
I will never understand why London has the ugliest views. Like that is an awful view and makes London look hideous. That alone would make the price not worth it.
Hahaha the furnishings in this apartment is prime example that money doesn’t buy taste. Not the corridor for a kitchen for £8M 😂😂
Lol. This kinda comments are becoming boring now. It's London and the furnishing is tasteful. You account afford it.. Let it rest 😂
@@ndonvictor4512 Not very good English.
@@tonyjedioftheforest1364 obvious typo.. Anyone with half a brain would know I speak English fluently and that that was a mistake

That kitchen though
Interesting. Being in the building trade I would be interested in what the sound insulation is like between apartments.

All I’m seeing is dirty water and low ceilings… $8mil?! No thanks
🤓 Thank You So Much 👍 LOVE 💝 LONDON 🇬🇧

They never do. It's an extremely common request never acted upon.
It will never be freehold,.
Spot on 😂need to give lease and service charge
Nice tour....well explained..

Beautiful apartment 😍😍🔥
The views are the best

Really nice, but, if sea levels rise, that's underwater. I'm thinking more Highgate, over 400' up.

Nice
Amazing how this place is so expensive and I've seen a Holiday Inn with more class and style lol
Why is the water brown
Silt from the river bed.

I enjoyed watching the Video. A very nice Luxury Apartment with great views 😊

"it even has a wine cooler" 😂
Lovely, let me be a neighbour to an Oligarch
It isn’t worth 8 million
Roman abramovich probably only stayed there a few Times he owns a lot of properties around the world
Abramovich has an empty a penthouse has he isn’t allowed in Britain
@@jonathanpaulhooley4159 his yachts are a lot better then then his apartment which he can use, he has got a property outside the U.K. which he can use 🤪
If Abramovich did own the penthouse next door I’m sure he was forced to sell along with cfc due to the sanctions.
Not liking the separate kitchen needs to be open plan
Do more in Manchester plz
Nice apartment... Tacky decor... very very overpriced
How tall are you? That ceiling is so low…
He mentioned he's 6'4 in another video
2.4 meter ceiling probably
I didn’t think it was possible to hate everything about a condo, but here we are.
Beautiful property. Just an observation.....but Matt has a strong Mr. Bean vibe in the extreme close up. Maybe it's just me?????
I like you're videos in general. But in this case, using Abramovich as a reference knowing what is going on in the world is a bit tasteless, I would say.
Get over it. Are all Germans ex-Nazis? All Argentinians member of the former Junta?
Essex
creepy kitchen. i assume it comes with furnishings as so much fawning is given to the decor?
Given the sanctions against Roman Abramovich, it's highly unlikely his in the penthouse 😂😂😂
8 million too much
I’d love to see a home with a home library!!
everythings perfect i love the way you guys present these beautiful homes only criticism get ourselves some house footwear😉
For £8m surely that's only the chefs kitchen!? Where's the main family kitchen?
Beats working for a living .
Undoubtedly owned by wealthy arab
very nice view and amazing design, but also the cost is impressive. In northern Cyprus, you can buy several villas for this money
Roof bht chota ha almost 12 foot tu hna chahye

If I pay £8million for a flat, I don't want anybody living above me or on the same floor.
it's a shame Kensington and Chelsea is the most dangerous borough in London, such nice houses and apartments
Well Roman isn't there anymore is he?
Very poor kitchen. A small galley kitchen is out of place in this massive apartment.
Beautiful apartment, fantastic views over the Thames river. Nice location too. Obviously all reflected in the price.
Why on God's earth would you think mentioning Abramovich would be a good or positive thing in the times we are in right now? 🤦♂
Its a no from me! Horrible decor and small terraces
Looks like a bland hotel suite. Not worth the money asked.

paying £8m to see council estates opposite you that pay nothing for the same view...
