Thank you once again went to the exact spot you caught your first one roughly 45 trout later got my diamond really appreciate it. By the way the temperature was 50.1 right where it should be.
Hi Darth, I saw a video on RUclips many weeks ago (from an other youtuber) which also had the temperature as a point to catch diamonds. I started to look up pictures of caught diamonds from other players and compared the temperatures. With this method I caught 15 diamonds in about 10 days. (playing 2-5h per day) But at least for me, it changed after the last update (bottom fishing update). Many fish species (not all) now just apper in pretty short amounts of time at all on the spots. I feel, that it used to be different before the last Updates. Now sometimes the spots seem to be completly out of fish :( This means, if I'm trying to get for example an diamond Kokanee Salmon on the known hotspots, I can fish (with the right tackle) and the following happens: I catch 2 or three Kokanee Salmons in a row then they are completly disappearing for a long time (30 minutes or sometimes even more) and just bronze and silver Rainbow Trout or Brook Trouts are spawning. This keeps happening with many other species, too, which makes it really annoing to catch Diamond, because, if I fish for 2 hours real time (watching temperatures and daytime, changing server...) I now often just catch about 10 fish of the species im after. I played the last 3 days at least 10 hours per day, and don't get even one diamond and I'm just fishing on the hotspots, which is very disappointing.
I also have seen this happen with certain species of fish. The only advice I can give you is, if you’re in a boat fish, the entire circle around the boat until you find another pocket of fish, and if it runs out, then rotate back to the original spot not always, but most of the time you’ll find that they start responding there again, if they don’t move the boat, the hotspots are generally pretty large areas not necessarily one small area keep moving until you find the fish again if you’re on a shoreline river Lake or Pond move up and down that area a couple hundred feet either direction until you find another pocket I know it’s a pain in the butt but most of the time it works out as Darth said I’ve been getting tons of diamonds since I’ve started the temperature method also. Don’t give up. Good luck.
@@dadsacyco3852 Thank you sir for your advices. I try moving more, but normally I'm not a steady spot fisher. I actually now had no diamond for 5 days and keep I'm fishing a lot lately. If I then watch videos like from "Old Man Rum" whos catching 12 diamonds in one weekend, I'm feeling a bit fooled to be honest.
I’m curious.what if you caught a fish on the surface, then a fish at the bottom in the same spot and see if the temp is lower at the bottom, like it is in real life.
Well,ok,but other people are saying that lowering your hook depth will change the temperature.so i guess that’s not true.maybe you could make us a video experimenting the possibilities.thanks again for your reply.
Dude I can't submit it on discord due to it not allowing me to verify my phone number for whatever reason, but I have a screenshot of an Atlantic salmon at 38.8 Fahrenheit in the middle spot on Norway for Atlantic salmon. I can send it elsewhere if you need it.
You know what the issue was? The very first clip you put in iMovie determines what you can save it as. I was putting my title scene first and it wouldn’t let me choose 1080p. So if I put my footage in first and then drag my title scene in I can save it as 1080p lol
Followed your advice and just caught the Diamond Brown Trout - thanks!!!
Nice!!!
Just caught mine dude
Mans on a mission another great video

Deeper water is cooler, if I'm in slightly too warm water I drop hook down a foot or two.
