Well in the movie the ennemy have play dirty trick to defeat kira so well the rising freedom was unlucky but giving the fact that the strike freedom type 2 struggle to defeat the same ennemy and he was nuclear powered we can assume that the rising freedom is a great ms who just sufficiently outperforming that vanquish him you to be prépare for the fight and dont play it fair and square.
