Thanks buddy! Definitely took me some time to get this all put together and I'm stoked you can tell. I love going back and looking at this stuff a year from now and remember all the adventures!
By far THE MOST EPIC MTB TRAVEL VID. 🎉 Thanks for sharing your experience. This makes me want to ride there even more - I’ve never been more stoked to want to slide on my butt down a mountain. 😂
That has to be some of the most stunning video I've seen of a mountain landscape in a mountain biking video, absolutely gorgeous. Plus the "I was going send it" at the end gave me a nice chuckle, great video Joe.
“Fresh as a daisy bro” says me, Dan. Grateful for the memories you captured. What an incredible bunch of days we had. Great job on the videos Joe. Looking forward to the next chapter. 👍
Yes! I mean...that hike was EASY! 😂 Great riding with you out there. One of these days I'm gonna make it to your neck of the woods and you'll have to show me around!
What an epic piece of cinematic art! Beautifully shot and a perfect storytelling edit. Also: you know you’ve done some crazy sh!t when the idea of slamming into a tree is actually comforting. lolol. Can’t wait for more!!
Damn good video Joe. The view of you guys riding down the spine of that mountain, absolutely amazing. I know the pucker factor was high, but you got the shot like a Pro.
You made hella good job on that trail, it's scary as hell. As Eastern European, I would be terrified, because the best we have in Eastern Europe is hillside with constant up and downs curved trails in forests, lakeside, and fields, maybe some tank training range 😂 And you make scenery worth of Lord of the Rings\Hobbit trilogy... Thank you! Keep making mountain biking Great again!
You really earned those views and the downhills. I cannot imagine the nerves and fighting for your body to do what it needs to do to keep moving with the exposure affecting you. Great content. You always keep your sense of humor despite the physical duress. Fun stuff.
Haha! Yes. I like the rhyme! Oaxaca is going to be a blast also. Definitely bringing my camera gear! And with Jess the Maker being there too there's bound to be plenty of comedy.
Thanks dude! I'm stoked how this one came together too! The first one was all speed. This was all exposure and epic views. Now for the final installment I'll have to think of a good finale!
Excellent video, really captures the exposure. Can't believe the difference 2 weeks makes weather wise, we had snow and sub zero temps on the hike a bike. Unreal trip. Again, love the videos
This was a brilliant watch. Wondering on the trails where it looked like a sheer drop, how much leeway or trail did you have at your side before it dropped away. Would have been awesome.
The camera really captured it pretty well. On that second hike a bike it was sheer cliffside on my right. Doug warned us to watch out step. Pretty wild stuff!
Squeaking brakes can be caused by getting them wet. Immediately after washing your bike, ride it down the driveway, dragging your brakes. Otherwise, the rotors will oxidize. I finally figured that out after going through three front rotors and pads. 😂 It would only happen on the front, which was weird.
Yea so odd! There was a couple people that had the same issue. I wonder if the altitude played a part? Not sure. But it sorted itself after a couple minutes on the bike thanksfully!
The second trail, with the exposure, is AI generated. I'm convinced haha. It's so beautiful something like that exists in our world and people can ride it. Thank you for sharing the journey with us!
Yea it was unreal! I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I'm actually glad I didn't do any research on the trip before hand. I went into this blind and really was surprised at every trail and hike a bike. So good!
Oh my goodness, that looked AMAZING! My wife and I rode in and around Vielha, Spain as part of our honeymoon this last summer. We already want to go back, and it looks like I need to hit up Basque MTB when we do. Amazing video, and very entertaining!
Nice! There’s an actual technique to hike-a-bike. Mine usually involves smacking my shins on the pedals as I desperately push my bike towards the top LOL Epic trails man 🤘
Yea I was amazed at how easy it was once I knew the proper technique of getting the bike up. If I'd had a pad on my shoulders it would have been a lot easier. I just wasn't conditioned for yet. That was the weak spot.
@@CaliradoKid Ridden most of Moab over some bike trips, but not Portal. Fruita/GJ has scary trails too. Kokopelli Loops and The Ribbon/Lunch Loops are about as much exposure as I can take in short sections. I'm usually riding in OH/PA.
Hey, I have a question so I have this pretty old bike called the Trinx m608 pro I think is a hard tail and I've been wondering if it's good for starting mountain biking. Great video by the way
Holy smokes… those views, those trails, those drone shots🤯
Thanks brother! It really was the real deal! Amazing trip!
Man that looks awesome, I definitely need to go there! That's my favorite type of ride too!
Yes! If I can organize a trip back there would be rad to have you come too!
Looked like an epic trip 🔥
So damned amazing!
Such a good video dude! Really well put together, the production quality won't go unnoticed!
Thanks buddy! Definitely took me some time to get this all put together and I'm stoked you can tell. I love going back and looking at this stuff a year from now and remember all the adventures!
@@CaliradoKid that's the beauty of documenting these adventures, couldn't agree more.
By far THE MOST EPIC MTB TRAVEL VID. 🎉 Thanks for sharing your experience. This makes me want to ride there even more - I’ve never been more stoked to want to slide on my butt down a mountain. 😂
Right! I was legit glad to have trees that could break my fall. 😂
Nail! Biter! So good! The scenery, ride, music and editing! What a great video to watch!
Thanks brother! What an amazing trip!
I've been waiting for this video. Videos are so crisp! Day 3 was excruciatingly painful. AWESOME video!!!
Yea dude! That was a BIG day on the bike. I like how at lunch we were all like..."no...we'll pass on the second ride of the day." 😂
@@CaliradoKid except that one RUclipsr guy. 😝
What a show off. 😂
Yeah it looked tough through the camera. Can only imagine how tough it really was. Nice work kid. I'll be waiting for the next upload.
My legs were TIRED after the double hike a bike days!
That has to be some of the most stunning video I've seen of a mountain landscape in a mountain biking video, absolutely gorgeous. Plus the "I was going send it" at the end gave me a nice chuckle, great video Joe.
Yea it was seriously unreal. This trip is the stuff of legends. I can't wait to go back.
Happy you enjoyed your trip and the trails in my country! 🚵
What an amazing place! I can’t wait to go back!
Your long form content is top notch! Keep it coming! I absolutely love the adventure you took us on. Spain is on my list thanks to you!

Yea no joke I was just so uncomfortable coming down that mountain. But I feel this need to go back and ride it so I can get over my fear. 😂
Another amazing vid, Calirado Kid, see what I did?! 😅Keep up the great work!!
I’m really looking forward to your footage from Oaxaca next year

Wow! Not sure what else to say, you deserve way more subs! That was a lot of work in there, incredible journey, thanks for sharing this!

@@CaliradoKid I'm sure it will not disappoint!
Wow, just incredible. And the GoPro really captures the exposure!
Yea man! It was the perfect mounting location. I'm so happy with how the footage came out.
@@CaliradoKid Were you in hyperview & hyper smooth?
Hmm. I'd have to check but it wasn't the max setting. So not the widest field of view. That one looked TOO distorted for my taste.
Holy cow ....amazing sick ride and views
Yea it really was an incredible experience!
Excellent video! Enjoyed every second of bit. 👏🏻🤛🏻👍🏼

Yea that was so wild when I saw Doug posting pics of the snow just 2 weeks after we left. We had the PERFECT timing.
This was a brilliant watch. Wondering on the trails where it looked like a sheer drop, how much leeway or trail did you have at your side before it dropped away. Would have been awesome.

Nope! Had to travel a bit further for these! 😂

The horizon is bend, concave in your camera, so the both slopes seem to be more steep than are in real

Exelent
Thanks!!
How does one go back to normal life, after such an epic experience?
Nice video
what model is your bike??????????
😮💛😮
I am Spanish and I went riding a bike in Moab😂😂😂😂😂
And we appreciate the h**l outta you to man! If they rode mountain bikes in Lord of the Rings, that’s what it woulda looked like, epic!!
Yes! Man I didn't think of but those sweeping drone shots really do have that feel. I could rewatch that part of the vid over and over again!
