Today our alarms went off WAY earlier than usual! We got up before the sun rise and headed back into the Dubai Desert where we went on our first HOT AIR BALLOON RIDE! It totally exceeded our expectations. We got to watch the sun rise over the dunes and even saw oryxes and camels trotting through the desert. It was magical! Once we landed we went back to the same Desert Camp as the night before for a delicious breakfast! We are continually impressed with the food quality in the middle of the desert ;) We were back at our hotel super early, so we rested and caught up on work before heading downtown for what every tourist must see - the tallest building in the world (Burj Khalifa) and the light show, but unfortunately they were both cancelled. That just gives us a reason to come back one day! :)

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started traveling full-time January 10, 2016. While daily vlogging was not the original plan, we were having way too many cool experiences not to share every single day! Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before Nate turns 30 (which is March 20, 2019)! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

The volume differences between the music and the dialogue are way too extreme I have to turn the music down to about six on my television and then up to 22 or 23 to hear the dialogue

The good thing about binge watching since the new year, is that you can really see a difference in the content of the vlogs. The shots are really cinematic and the editing is spot on. (Not that the older ones weren't great too).
Our vlogging has evolved big time! We crack up watching our first ones. Especially when we “thought” we were doing something really cool and it totally wasn’t 😁

Grace, I think the same things! When my friends ask me what's been going on with my day, I'll tell them, "Well, today I was in Barcelona... and tomorrow I'll be in Krakow, Poland". I then proceed to say all the things I found amazing (and anything that may not have been). Yep, that's exactly how I feel, that I've actually been to these places.

That's a bummer about the Burj Khalifa, but otherwise wow! *STUNNING* vlog! I was missing the footage from the sky with the lack of drone, and this was just spectacular! Another thing to add to the bucket list: ride a hot air balloon (especially in a gorgeous location like the desert in Dubai)!
I think it was awesome seeing everything they just seem sad that one royal family died but it gives your more reasons to travel have fun and joy the journey sometimes it’s never over

Fun tip kara an Nate when you say the sun is about to come up it already is. Light takes 8 minutes to leave the sun to get to earth, so if sun rise is 6 am it's all ready there

Wow, what an experience! I love the thought of hot air balloons, but they've always scared me a little. This, however, was magical, getting to watch the sunset. And those camels! It was all so beautiful.

Hello, I remember the hot air balloon here in Japan. Every November they have hot air balloon festival in Saga Prefecture. It is really cool to watch colorful balloons with different Cartoon characters and anime too. This is nice showcasing this video -All the way from Japan.
