- Saw a comment from a few months ago asking about this and I also wondered why no one had done it yet. Was out of time and motivation to make a new mashup from scratch so I just quickly put this together.

Fun fact: V6's Take Me Higher is part of the Japanese Eurobeat album. So technically, Ultraman Tiga is the first and only Ultra Series to ever use an Eurobeat song
That's right. Also, the opening song for Ultraman Decker called "Wake Up Decker" has a Eurobeat-like vibe. This Ultraman series just finished airing a few months ago so maybe not many people know about it.

Fun fact: Dave Rodgers, creator of the Eurobeat version of _Take Me Higher,_ was V6’s manager when they created the original version.

Depends on which instrumental you're talking about. Dave produced and released 2 versions of the same song, one made in 1995 and the other being the 2020 remake.

Can you remix V6 and Dave Rodgers Music for the People? Dave Rodgers had made Japanese Eurobeat musics for V6 and later cover in English by himself

Did Dave ask V6 or Tsuburaya for the song licence *and* the samples used in the song?
If not, how did he reconstruct it and remix it to be a eurobeat song?
He was one of the original composers of the song, credited under his original name Giancarlo Pasquini.

I'm not exactly sure how song rights work, but I think Johnny's & Associates (V6's agency) still own a bunch of rights to the V6 version, since it was released first iirc.
Dave Rodgers probably still has composition rights though, so he can remake the song in his own style. His version doesn't reuse the same samples from the V6 version; they sound similar but there's minor differences. The arrangement is also slightly different.

They were actually made and released around the same time period. Dave Rodgers was a composer for the V6 version (under his birth name Giancarlo Pasquini), then he recorded and released the English version about a year later. It's technically not a cover since the lyrics are different across both versions, but the English version is more like an alternate version, since both had the same person contributing to their production.
The English cover is legit, Dave Rodgers was the maker of Take Me Higher(under his real name). You could probably say that the Take Me Higher was a Eurobeat song.
Actually V6 is the first maker of Take me higher cuz as you can see take me higher japan version release in 1996 Just like the time when the Ultraman Tiga series was aired and English version release in 1997
@@alpeandwee8520 By "maker" they mean "composer", not "singer(s)". The V6 version is composed by 3 people, Giancarlo Pasquini (real name of Dave Rodgers), Jennifer Batten & Alberto Emilio Contini. You can find their names in Tiga's opening credits in English.
Even though i really don't like Dave Rodgers this version rocks
