Great WIPs. I love how you so easily restart projects to better love them. It’s a good lesson for all of us. I look forward to seeing your progress on Hawk Run Hollow. I love the Hawk Run series. I’m stitching the Autumn chart and loving every stitch.
Great WIP parade! I added a few patterns to my To Buy list. 🙂 New sub (found you searching YT for floss tube), and I look forward to watching more of your videos! Happy Stitching! Lynn
Hey Erica - what a pleasant surprise to see another video. Enjoyed seeing all of your beautiful WIP's! I concur about stitching what you love, time truly is limited. Regarding the Live On Little chart - something to consider with adjusting the chart . . . stitch down to the White House and grass. Then select a red barn from another chart, add the barn to the right side (around the area where the roof of the big house is), and fill in/adjust the trees to fit around the barn. If the grass bottom looks like it needs something, you could carry the border around the bottom or add an alphabet across the bottom of the grass. It's what I'd do if I were to stitch this one. If you decide to give it away, I'd love to adopt it and finish as described. 🥰
Love your WIP parade! You shouldn’t feel like you have to work through anything. This is your hobby that’s meant to make you happy. If it doesn’t just pitch it. The Live On Little - I would cut it off to save the rest of the fabric and just throw it away then give away the pattern. Brenda of Brenda and the Serial Stitcher always says “stitch what makes you happy.”☺❤
Just happened onto your RUclips channel. Loved your content…will be going back and watching from the beginning. Your stitching is beautiful and the patterns you choose are right up my alley!❤
Loved your wip parade. Can’t wait to see which ones you do for next time I know we always say we’re gonna do this. We’re gonna do that but you wait you will pick something out of there I bet
You’ve got some really pretty and varied stitching going. I don’t do very well having too many projects going as I forget what they are lol And I don’t have 23! Lots fewer and I still forget lol I’m as tempted by all the beautiful fabrics as I am patterns and there are just some that are bliss to stitch on..when I have the right pattern with the right fabric and the right colors..if you know what I mean. I know what you mean about similar symbols and the frustration of mistaking one for another. I’m stitching the Early American series by Little House Needleworks and there are a couple that are very hard to distinguish between. Enjoy your summer and see you in August. Suzette
Thank you so much for watching my videos. I just love when you have the perfect pattern, and the perfect linen, and the perfect threads! Those projects you almost don’t want to come to an end.
Enjoyed your parade today, you have a great eye for fabric and choose beautiful pieces to work on. If you decide to give Live on Little away, I'd definitely enjoy stitching on it but if the saying brings you joy while you stitch it, you could finish the saying and the border on the left and top and call it good. For the Tiny Modernist Halloween Cuties, I'd definitely let the beautiful fabric show through and not cover it up with background floss. Go with your gut and ufo The Pastoral, use that time to stitch the things that you absolutely love. For the Little Witch School, you could finish the witch and put the three diamonds above it in probably one more stitchy session then make a sweet little needlebook or a pillow for your doughbowl. I applaud you for ufoing the ones which no longer bring you joy, it is a very freeing feeling when you let things go. Regarding being overwhelmed with your WIPs, set a goal for that month, say 2 hours or 500 stitches or a motif from the chart, pick the WIP that is closest to a finish or that calls to you and you'll be amazed how soon you'll be finished, plus this method allows you to still start all the projects without feeling guilty that you aren't touching your old ones. Life is short and we should enjoy what we are stitching during the time we take for ourselves. Thanks so much for sharing your stitchy goodness. Cheers!
Hi Felicia. Thank you so much for your kind words. And for the great suggestions on some of the stitching projects I have. If you would really like the Live in Little piece to finish, I would be thrilled to send it to you, fabric, pattern, and thread. I decided after the video that was much as I love the saying, I would love to see someone else finish the piece as it was intended more. I stich with my top cross from the bottom left to the top right. I think most people go the other direction from what I've seen. If that doesn't bother you, then email me your address, and I will ship it out to you.
Great to see your WIPS! You should definitely give the Live on Little away if you do not want to stitch it anymore. I have finished This is the Day (my biggest cross stitch so far) but I think that Live on Little is even bigger. It is on my list to get and stitch one day. I love it but it does look intense. Ketchup and Mustard! Funny! Those Quakers are calling my name. I have done 2 smaller ones so far but I want to get some of the Seasonal one.
Hi Carol. I have been looking at some other quaker patterns besides the one I've shown, and I am so drawn to them! I can't wait to see if Lila Studio comes out with a fall and winter quaker as well.
Erica, What a fun WIP parade! I loved seeing your projects. When your heart says that a project is no longer making you happy, you are right to dump it. I have been very fortunate so far and that has not happened to me. I am sure it is a difficult decision. Take care. Best, K
I do feel a little bad about ditching projects but thankfully someone commented on the live on little piece and they are willing to pick up where I left off. So that makes me happy. It’s a good lesson though for me to be a little more judicious with choosing my projects going forward. Thank you so much for always leaving a comment, it’s so nice to hear from you.
Thank you for taking the time to share your wips! It is definitely hard to decide what to continue with or ufo. On your two bright fall pieces you are questioning finishing, my suggestion is that if it appears to bright when you finish it you can antique it by dipping it into a coffee or tea dye bath. You will be surprised how much that will tone down the colors.
That is a fantastic idea!! I really do love the pattern and your idea might just be the touch it needs. Now I’m excited to continue stitching it. Thank you so much.
An idea for your plum street pattern: instead of throwing away, just finish off the saying and make a project bag out of it. At least you would have the saying that you like!
Do not be afraid to stop a pattern that is not a joy to stitch. This is suppose to be our joy not our drudgery. So if it is not fun let it go. Elsa from frozen has the right idea......Let it go.

Hi Brandi. I would love to have given this to you to stitch, but I've already promised it to another viewer. I'm so sorry!
@@lookwhatsinmyhoop Oh, no worries what so ever. Glad it'll be stitched and enjoyed by a fellow stitcher. 💕

That's so true. If it doesn't bring me joy, then why am I letting it take up space and time in my life?!

A lot of WIPs there!! But then don't we all. Great video. See you in August.

Why don’t you just put the border around the saying of the Live On Little - it is beautiful
Hi. That was originally my plan after I decided I didn't want to stitch the whole thing. But I'm not so sure anymore!
Cauldron?
Yes!! Cauldron...thank you, lol.
