Something that'd be nice about timed dodges is that you'd have more incentive to do the parries and perfect assists. If the dash had a cooldown, you'd be forced into thinking "Okay, so this a yellow flash attack, I should probably parry it, and then when the enemy uses an unparriable attack I will dodge" or something along those lines, because that'd make for a lot more reactive interaction with enemies as opposed to just slapping the hell out of them and dodging freely and infinitely like NieR Automata or smth. Also one thing that you mentioned that I didn't really like since they first showed the game is that, as you said, they just reuse the ultimates for their assists. Which is cool when you wanna just see everyone dish out a powerful attack, but it takes away a lot from the actual ultimate when you use it, cause it just makes it feel more inconsequential when compared to the assists. The game clearly has less focus on ultimates than Genshin and especially Star Rail, but they should really make sure they still stand out a bit more
You are right on the money! I think dodge should keep the 2 uses but get the cooldown increased to about 2 secs. That way people have to think cause they cant dodge spam. And with the Assist aninations, i thik they should have totally different animations instead of a baby version of the ultimate. You are 100% right
I think just making the parry be more rewarding but riskier would be the move, but def should make it so you can’t just spam the dodge button. No need to introduce stamina, but if the game reads that the player is just mashing the dodge button make the next dodge less effective and have worse I-frames, so you have to wait 2 sec or smt for it to reset and you can dodge normally. Would be cool to have 2 different parries, normal parry and perfect parry. If you deflect the attack perfectly you do more stagger damage and even regain some hp, would make the game feel a lot more satisfying.
thanks for the honest review, you be surprise lots of people include Tectone share same problem that you have. Tectone main problem, the graphic look blurry, UI messy hard to understand, main male character boring even compare to Aether, TV minigame suck.
I was thinking iif they were gonnna make it similar to HI3 and i see it is, as story uses stamina ,Menu is kinda alot etc ... So i guess day 1 HI3 peeps will be used to those small things
@@iSUMMONYT yea and the thing is with HI3 they did improve on the layout of the icons overtime so yea I just hope they improve on things as I just saw tectone explaining that sometimes there is not alot of combat and u gotta go through so many TV things I wanted the game to be like I open it and battle straight up

These are problems that are very in your face when youre playing. The game is vsry fun but it can be way better
