You know there must be tens of thousands of woodworking videos on RUclips. But only a few of them have no narration or music. This is a fine example of letting the wood do all the talking. And letting the wood itself with very little finishing express the beauty of the piece. A pleasure to watch and learn. Thank you.
I have no interest in woodworking, yet I can't stop watching your videos. It is way beyond "woodworking". It's the art, dedication, totality, and religious attention to details that capture me. The videos are also done well :) Respect from Israel
The combination of disciplined craftsmanship and reverent videography is simply exquisite. The amazing capture of sounds from tool, machine and material (plus doggie) heightens the viewer experience. When these videos conclude, I always feel as though I have just witnessed two distinct artistic creations. Thank you both.
I quit my job as a cabinet maker 10 months ago, and while I know I was earning less than minimum wage for a lot of time and effort, I really miss having access to a woodshop and having that tactile creativity. These are such beautiful pieces of work you're doing!
I love this channel, but every time I see one of your videos I fell sad because I will never be able to make furniture like you do. You just have such mastery and equipment! I definitely watch them just to feel amazed and dazed for such wonderful furnitures. Please keep posting videos
Your workshop is outstanding. Video production is better than Hollywood’s. Please can we have a shop tour in the near future. And perhaps just a little of your background, your heritage A very valuable channel.
It is bittersweet when the music starts- the end of the video, but the birth of a piece of art to be appreciated and treasured for many years. Thanks for your wonderfully meditative videos. It keeps me (us) calm in a chaotic world.
Hats off to the camera operator/videographer, the relaxed and attentive feel of the camera work really adds a lot to these videos. It's also rare to see a woodworking video with someone else documenting (as opposed to the woodworking just filming themselves)
I totally love the silence..let the wood speak! Very nice Work and a beautiful piece of Art! What a great moment, when he is sitting in front of the peace!!! Love that! Thank u so much..u totally inspired me..especially the use of chisels and handplane!
No lengthy inane chatter or generic RUclips 'music' ... just the craftsman and his art, and always a most magnificent product at the end. With the occasional greeting from Shiro. This is RUclips heaven.
Thank you for sharing your lovely videos. I have been a bespoke furniture maker for 15 years and suffer from dermatitis too. I find your videos so inspiring. Thank you to all 3 of you. :-) ありがとうございます。
This is the type of amazing craftmanship, furniture that you can have and hand down to future generations...so much care and details embodied in each piece of work
best videos ever.. you enjoy what you do as an artisan, but you even give time and effort to edit these videos with excellent cinematography for us.. thank you very much
Your talent is not "woodworking", it surpasses that, what you do is pure "woodART"! Thank you Natsuki for showing us your amazing work and thank you Chie for the cinematographic shots. Congratulations! ps.: Shiro is SO CUTE! Haha
These videos are so inspiring and calming to me. The attention to detail is amazing. For instance, the tiny chamfers on the butterfly joints and the edges of the drawers... They're tiny details that you may not notice at first, but decry the time and craftsmanship behind the work.
I find your design to be beautiful. Your execution of that design is masterful, and I have truly enjoy every one of Chie's videos that I have watched. You have become my favorite channel.
Thank you for creating your channel. I really like the way the videos are done. Seeing your work has inspired me to get back into doing woodworking in my garage. Thank you!
I am touched, his work is so beautiful, that it is costly to describe it. I admire you and you are a master ... thank you very much for sharing this very inspiring video.
Again a beautiful piece of furniture. I especially like how you detail the bow ties, leaving them slightly proud then just giving the edges a slight bevel, real nice touch. Really enjoy watching your videos.👍
Those dove joints are magical! I build cabinets and furniture and restore antique furniture for a decent living in my own shop but if you offered a week long class I’d be on a plane to japan in a heartbeat!
превосходная работа, мой любимый канал, испытываешь эстетическое удовольствие при просмотре, ассистент как всегда на высоте, и Chie как всегда превосходно все преподносит. ждем новых видео)
Enhorabuena!!! Eres un artista!! Sigue así amigo!! Me encanta la delicadeza con la que realizas tus trabajos!! Gracias por tus videos!! De un ebanista de Barcelona!!
I love this video, again. Beautiful work. But I have to say something about the video. The shots that you chose are brilliant, artful and beautifully composed. Also the sound recording is sublime and enhances the satisfying shots. Also the pace of the editing is so perfect that it doesn’t need any music or voice over. Totally zen. Greetings from the Netherlands!
Hello friend, I would like to thank you for your work in sharing your art, I have watched all of your videos and it has served as a lot of inspiration for me, thanks again, from Brazil, Dirceu Ximenes.

Your absolutely bang on! Couldn't say it better myself.

Fresh, beautiful design, disciplined execution

Probably the only videos on youtube of machines cutting wood that are peaceful, I dare say therapeutic.
.....also like the way the little dog is awestruck with the work going on....and the small walks in the woods...🙏🏼
Master craftsman/carpenter/artist! He creates pieces that will be passed down to your children and their children and generations to come.

Just sitting in awe watching woodworking and videography masters at work.

I came here for the poetry, the ambiance ...
I stayed for the woodworking sensation. I am fulfilled.
