I work at a thrift store and people, mainly resellers always trying to haggle down the price. Now we price stuff very fair and cheap already and I always say no unless it's been there a week or longer but it's always the new stuff we put out they want cheaper and I just say well someone else will buy it and more often then not the person behind them says oh I'll buy it if there not .
My momma always said "If there's no prices, they want too much"!! Trying to get resale pries without doing any of the work is just ridiculous! Those yard sale hosts should be left without any sales!!

Yeah because you won't be able to get that locally usually because there's not always the buyers for it... So it doesn't make sense you got to be the middleman kind of. They need to sell them to the resellers if they don't want to do eBay. Because that's how it works that's why plenty of manufacturers work with all kinds of stores and people because That's the job they want not to get it out to a bunch of people and have to do all the extra work
I always have 3 or 4 places with cash. I never pull out 200 bucks and then say "can you do 5 instead of 10". The next item you find after they see the cash will double in price. She looked right at that wad of money and thought "you couldnt pay 40 even though you have a fist full of money".

Most people say listing prices and not sold prices. Hold up an item and they say “that’s $70 on eBay” but none ever sold for that price and have only sold $35-40 for perfect condition and theirs is in rough condition lol

The first Estate Sale was ridiculous on the prices on everything..😠😝 Really nice haul at the sale where you got the Fenton glass (hand painted) and other vintage items but even she was kinda high on prices too..🤔 I will say this if you find the right piece's of Fenton like hobnail 2 color vases they're usually big 💰 money..😍😮 I love the vase with 🌹 roses painted one and small pitcher.. You ran into some tough people today for negotiations. Too many people looking things up on ebay... lol The issue is most look up active listings and not the sold listings.
Looks like people holding any kind of sale, need to practice and get better at providing the buyer pricing. Sure would make it easier on everyone and save time. You're very patient and that is an acquired skill. Keep up the good work.
As far as the estate sale goes not everybody's a reseller so some people will legitimately just want to buy that item for themselves so maybe they'll pay that price but for reselling that's way overpriced and sometimes you just got to walk away and that's okay that doesn't mean that other people are bad or you're bad or they're good and you're not good just means it is what it is

I always always love your videos but I was definitely trying to yell through the tv at you about the pink faded pitcher set (made by blendo) with glasses and the yellow faded large bowl with the other faded bowls next to the fire king 😅 I haven’t seen the pink set before and solds look like 100 for the pitcher with the four glasses. I sold a set in my both for 150 but it was the multiple colored one. You make a ton of money as is but never hurts to learn more and I am sure this was already said 512 times.
I'd like to say thank you! I went to my first-yard sale about a week ago and only bought a couple things for $15 with a potential resale of 150+. Then today my second-yard sale, and hit the jackpot. I spent 30 with a potential resale of 600+ and kept a few things for myself.
I see buying on eBay as a convenience. You get to search for an item in the comfort of your own time. Therefore, prices are higher buying at yard sales, and flea markets thrift stores are an inconvenience, so the prices should be lower. But everyone can price their stuff at whatever they please.

If you guys go to estate sales, its usually 3 days and the first day its not for resellers, an estate sale mean you try and make as much money as possible the items are researched and priced accordjngly. The 2 day its usually 20% to 25% off 3rd day 50 to 75% off. Now yall know😂
Said it before will say it again folks can ask any prices they want whether it is on ebay or at a yardsale. Both are work and deserving of reward. So I just do not understand getting upset . I have done both - selling online and at yardsales - not happy, Just Walk Away

The best response to somebody who's asking eBay prices is to ask them for packing materials, box and shipping labels.
