Those 2 people with the WW2 models / Legos were super cool and polite. They had good prices and knew how to move product!
Definitely. Thanks for watching!
@@PartTimePickers just a heads up for that sale, right when you walked up on the ground in front of the table was a Warhammer 40k board game called Horus Heresy. Good money in that one. Just a head up!
you mean they knew how to give shit away basically for free? thats not moving product lmfao. thats giving shit away
Great picks at this sale, kinda wish you’d offered them more❤
Wow $5 a box is a a steal! 😯
Oh my gosh - the guy selling lego is such a sweetheart. What a cool person.
But it was not Lego
@@julienturcot8112 Too much time on your hands bro
Awww that young man selling his toys reminds me of my son, who is diagnosed with autism. I bet he was selling all his special items to raise money for himself. He was so sweet.
😊
He got a lot of joy knowing someone bought his treasures.
He was very kind. Seems like an awesome kid
No disrespect to you or your son, and my comment isn't directed to you personally.
Autism seems to be the latest "in" ailment.
In the past it has been ADHD, Dyslexia, PTSD.
@@Cleatus546 . You are right. these diseases are discovered as if they were never diseases in the first place when they’ve been there since the dawn of man
The guy with the Legos was priced to sell. Always so kind and respectful Matt, that does mean heck of alot 😊
That guy with the models made my day:) hard to start your day off bad when he was juat the happiest and polite guy.
I really admire you paying for those items that were free. You knew that you would profit and shared. She was truly just wanting to clear things out.
Same with me I wish all humans had a heart like that we would be such a better species!
That was hilarious when you pulled up to a sale & honked with your knee, lol "you woke me up" the guy said, too funny. I love moments like that at sales, I have more fun every week just visiting with people at their homes during sales.
People have the right to ask any price they want - just as you do on your online sales. I have a few yardsales and I remember one person yelling at me saying with the prices I charged she could not make a profit selling it. Guess what ? Not my problem !
Did you sell anything?
@@PartTimePickers Not to her. But yes I did sell my items
They do have the right to ask what they want, and ppl have the right to walk away and look for someone with more reasonable prices😂
That kid with the Star Wars stuff was so nice. I’m a nerd myself and you could tell he probably was a little special. I would have bought his entire table at asking price just to make him smile 😊
I have a feeling this guy's just bought a bunch of garbage he won't use idk but that's what I'm feeling now 😅❤
I love talking to people like that! So full of happiness and loving life!
Because he's special you would just buy everything? That's discrimination!
@@swallowedinthesea11 you’re one of those huh?
Wow you killed it! That little globe is awesome! Some of those people were really proud of their stuff lol they be carrying it back in their house at the end lol thanks so much for sharing 💜
The conversation with the lady about the video games around the 3 minute mark reminded me of when I went to college and my parents took my entire collection of full boxed/manual video games, took out all the disks and cartridges, put them in cd cases and boxes, and then threw away the cases.
I know they were just trying to be nice and help me get my stuff organized, but man I never felt so betrayed 😂
Dam I know how that feels 🤣💯💔
My biggest pet peeve about garage sales is when the seller fails to mark the price on the items for sale. 🙄 I cannot stand it when an individual says “name your price”, “how much do you think”, or “for the right price it’s yours”.
If something is that precious to you or is a huge collectible, then why is it out there in the first place?
YES!! And then they wanna highball the hell outta the price! 😂 at least do your research before! Geeze!!
The Lego guy kind of sounds like Olaf. What a sweet guy!
I love the downplay of items "How much for the pan thing?" lol
More people need to do the same
I resell and would have walked right by it … not my category but always learning
@@TrollHunterxXx I mean, I guess if there was value, it might be worth a look. Not really my thing but I do have a nice cast iron Dutch oven from Macy’s that I love using.
@@DianeMario-ct9tf right?! And she was asking a lot because she “had a lot of them”? People don’t make sense sometimes.
@@punisher898 exactly! I doubt she sold a lot of her items with prices like that. Even the jacket for $20 was crazy. 😂
The young man with all the legos is so much like my son , He probably has Asperger's and could have told you everything about all his collection.
"They're very expensive" "How much do you want ?" "2 bucks" ... sold!
Almost like the lego guy whos $25 but I will take less.. dude dont do that if you are trying sell stuff :) He was very nice.
I never like it when people don't mark prices on their stuff. I go to garage sales for cheap prices, not to pay retail!
Exactly. A garage sale means you are one step away from throwing it away.
@@Cleatus546May be you are one step from losing your house
This is nonsense. There’s no reason why the garage sale prices need to be less than online preowned sales. They were not retail price. They were online preowned sales price.
@@Cleatus546Yep and if It don't sell them you drop it off at goodwill! Lol
@@southtexasobserver3306I mean they're not wrong, most stuff if we don't sell in garage sales after a few attempts we just take to Goodwill.
"I'll definitely think about that one." - Secret reseller code for "hard pass."
Matt, i just discovered your channel about a month ago. I have been binge watching and find myself humming your exit song all the time. Love your channel and Homeschooler too. You guys can find some really good things.❤
I love the cute legos guy. Great job as usual May!
That nerdy guy selling the boxes for $5 was a really nice sweet person, as was his Father. I would have bought something just because of how sweet and genuine they were.
You find the best deals. Excluding the crazy golf club dude. The yard sales in So Cal are all clothing and junk. I've almost given up on yard sales. Enjoy your videos. You give me hope.
One of the very few reselling channels that I watch religiously another great video Matt. Thank you.
Wow ! Good haul.
I love the way you sum it up in the end...not just THAT you sum it, but how you sum it up.
I now find myself whistling that tune intermittently through the day. 🤣
I really enjoy watching your channel, but especially like watching you and homeschooling lady together.
The 1980s suncatcher kits were everywhere and they came with little things of different colored sand and it was basically paint by numbers with the sand using the metal piece to separate the colors. You tried not to spill a grain of sand in the wrong compartment. Then it went in the oven to get hard and become glass. Unicorn suncatchers, doesn't get more 80s than that
Hey Matt, just wondering if it is awkward for you when you are the only person looking at a garage sale, and the home owner is just staring at you. I always get a little uneasy when it happens to me😅
Same thing happens to me I feel like i have to buy from them even if I fit. See nothing I like. 😅
Same. It’s so awkward
Or when they follow you around..
ABSOLUTELY!! I know EXACTLY what you mean!!!!!!I like to relax when shopping and it makes it hard to do I don't always feel like nice little chit chat either.. I avoid alot garage sales for that reason unless I see things from a distance I want or need real bad!😊
When I was a child a store owner used to follow me and others around his store even tho I never took anything nor intended to. I'm sure he lost ALOT of business!!
that little fire pit was such a good find. Ive been wanting one of those for my backyard
That legos guy was awesome, that warmed my heart for some reason. I would have bought everything he had just cause.
I like him too.... He's so polite❤
@@andreaschmall5560 You are exactly right. He took advantage of him and it really pi$$ed me off. He knows how much vintage Legos and Star Wars stuff brings.
@@ErinaMarie76 Are you going to call police?
@@swallowedinthesea11 Yes, I just might. 🙄
That's some killer deals Matt.. You had a great day of yard/garage sales..😮😉 That sale where you got the military tank model's was awesome and you even left money sitting there..🤔😍 Love all the awesome finds.. Take care..👍💕🔥👊
What a lovely young man with the models. Also well done on the ladies boots.
The first couple were nice, though their prices were high for a reseller. You were nice to them and treated them with respect. I will continue watching.
My jaw dropped when you found that Eagles record for $1! My fave!!!
You’re so nonchalant when the prices are so outrageous!! Lol!! Love it!!! You’re able to contain it well!! Love your channel!!
its their stuff they can price it as high as they want
A fire pit for 4.00, WOW. For the ones terribly over priced there will always be a great bargain just down the road. The community yard sales are awesome. Keep up the good work and the best of luck. Viewer from Alabama. War Eagle. 🥰😃🤩
Variety of goods! Nice job Matt, you are so kind☮️❣️
Thanks for watching!
Some amazing pick up’s from these sales, well done as always Matt - you have a great eye for a deal 👍👍
Thank you again for the fun and interesting video❣👍 I love it that you are diverse in the items that you seek out. You make this old lady smile...for the moment. Your kindness gives me hope in this crazy world😘
Thanks for Sharing!!! we have had so much rain lately that i haven’t been to any decent yard sales! Hopefully soon! Happy Hunting! 🩵😃
Same here. Rain every weekend.
26:04...Yes Part Time Picker...Hum Away....I Flipping Love that Song & I love Your Uploads..Part Time Picker Thanks For The Education..Cheers 🍻
Amazing eye guy! You have always impressed me as a good minded picker but todays buys and sales impressed me. Hope all your picking days are successful!
Looks like a fun day. I thought that was a CowParade when you picked it up, I just sold one, had never seen them before. Loved the interaction with the Lego model guy.
Matt, looks like a cool estate sale coming up in Walnut Creek this weekend (5/6) that just got posted. Lots of 80's -2000's toys and some Gameboys.
Great video as always Matt! As said above and I know you have done it this way for a long time , I really like how you show each item an what it sells for at the end and the total spend and potential sold.
On a side note you need to get Kayla out there to California. I like you two together. I noticed she’s wearing Vans now and ditched those moccasins. LOL
are they dating now?
I think you took advantage of the guy selling the Legos. He was definitely handicapped and did not know the value of his items.
yard sales are supposed to be cheap
Yeah, he totally ripped him off
It's a garage sale...
It's a garage sale, everything is supposed to be cheap.
@@NaraMidnightit’s supposed to be whatever the seller says it is. And Ripoff dude knows it’s worth that much
I'm sitting here watching this video, amazed at the deals that you got wowzee you killed it fairly new to your channel by way of homeschooling picker, first time commenting. Con-Grad! 💜 garage sale season.
The albums and Army vehicles were $$$. Nice work Matt!
That's a particularly epic haul, Matt! Incredible!
Nice Haul! Lego guy really undervalued his items kinda feel bad for him.
I Love how you end your videos...the music and recap...nice haul!
$1 Hokas! Nice deal. Excellent!
right I've only ever come across 2. The LL bean boots I knew were going to be good too. When I go to place with deal like those Hokas I really search because they probably have other good stuff worth google lensing
Dude! I admire how you stay cool with the ridiculous prices some people have on their sales. I would scream, what!?!?! 😂
they are only ridiculous prices to resellers who get mad cause its to high for them to profit
@@johnnycarter2283 Not really
@@johnnycarter2283 correct, so please don't judge the person selling because they are just trying to make a living as well
@@johnnycarter2283 dude, it’s a fucking garage sale, not a retail shop. if you want to get full retail prices for your stuff, you should open up a store. Resellers create value for people and that is why they make money, don’t make it seem like resellers are stingy about high prices: no one wants to pay retail prices when they are at a garage sale
@@musicstuff698 no resellers want everything for basically free
Congrats Matt! Awesome pick ups. Keep your energy going bro!
Hi there pickers another good day with you thank you from Sylvia ukxx
Community wide sales are so fun!
We made those sun catchers when we were kids. It came with metal and you added color plastic beads, then bake. Kind of like shrinky dinks before that.
Looking at the bottom getting out of figurines , 27:02 what I have not seen you do!! Yes great ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
I always enjoy your comp prices at end of the shows.
Hey Matt and viewers can anyone explain to me what Matt was saying about the neighborhood maps thingy. Please thank you 👊
My man w the lego's killin it!
He was a cool dude
I loved the sun catchers banter today✌🏼✌🏼
The Lego gentleman had the best prices and personality.
always love your videos man. makes my day to watch them and I aspire to go garage saleing some day. keep it up man!
I like your honesty, the lady said you could have that stuff that games or the air guns, and you asked could you give her something, and that's honesty. That's going with what your heart feels. The Pleiadians say, on the planets that they live, they don't even have money. They just do things honestly. They cooperate everybody works and everybody takes what they need, but no more than. They have stores like we do, but they don't have money they just go in there and simply take what they need. Everybody has a job and they all do what they can. I would love if humans could do that as a whole.
Thanks for the content Matt, felt like I went with you today 🎉
Holy Moly…. Some amazing finds!!!
saying star wars with a disney bag is old, lol
I always check books at garage sales. I have found so many envelopes with hidden cash stashes people forgot about.
That’s nice of you to check for them before buying the books.
@@PartTimePickers😂😂😂😂
Mans out here just stealing old people money and walks away without buying anything 😂 some people’s morals are just a little more twisted then others🤷♂️😂
That happened to me once..found a couple hundred in a free book..had some fun asking repeatedly if I could *really* have the book till they got annoyed, and then showed the $$$...it would have been nice if they tossed me a finders fee, but whatever 😂
Man you killed on that day I wish I could run across that kind of stuff . Are you doing the Georgia sale next year? Peaches to beaches
God that paintball gun was a blast from the past... was a knockoff spider but remember scrolling those and all the parts om ebay back in 2000
Killed it…. Good Eye, Excellent profit !
Dude sounds like he is from star wars. All my sentences are questions?? Lol
The albums!! And the exit out of your van! Smooth!
I've had real good experience selling suncatchers. Wowzers!!! What a heck of a haul!!!
The small globe was sold along with bigger one, on the shopping channels. Thery are made from actual gemstones. I still have my 12 inch globe on a silver stand. They are really nice. I paid 100 probably in the late 80s.
Coming from someone’s who’s done A LOT of yard saling, if you walk up to a yard sale and there’s still a lot of stuff there, the prices are way to high
That Le Creuset was definitely a decent deal! That would have been mine if I lived there! The Dutch Oven goes for $220 and you can find the baking dish for $55. She wanted $110 for both and I would’ve offered $90. Le Creuset is a premium brand and very expensive!
Went to one this weekend that did the old print out ebay prices and had that laying next to most items, it was around lunchtime and looked untouched...I left after a couple looks...
Lol
I love that you gave her money for the paint ball set
Vinyl is a cheat code! That Led Zeppelin is nice even with the writing on the sleave.
Why did you leave all the paintball tanks and accessories behind. Looked like great stuff.
Journey's 2nd album... Back when they were considered prog. Good pickup...
What a great video. We've been watching resellers for a minute and we really like this style of video. Thanks
It's interesting watching someone buy knickknacks. The others who garage sale mainly look at clothes and shoes and watching those videos gets repetitive.
Gotta be the first one there... The first one there, I can't be the last one there!
Nice!
Good day of garage sales. Good choices on your part!
Wow, what a day! Good for you, Matt!
Wow, great scores! Awesome episode, thanks Matt !
Love this video. Great finds. Keep on brother.
19:33 should have made an offer on her Nirvana tee
Haha I thought that too I was shocked she had it on casually. Hey can I get you out of that shirt? (This is why I dont make jokes at yardsales )
Dang, things ended must better than they started $$$. Another great video
Last few garage sales I went to were selling crap for ridiculously high prices . Hard to find bargains any more.
Awww man you passed on the Cheech and Chong record?? It’s a classic
Great finds! Enjoy your videos. When you ship a hat...is it ok to fold the back in?? I've been using an 8x6x4 box and have to fold it in. Thanks.
U always get such great days . It’s good karma for being such a kind human!
Kayla found, bought and kept exactly the same globe in one of her videos.
Here in Ohio those original bags for the popcorn buckets would have blown to the next county lol
That’s funny when you do the how much is this little thing right here knowing it’s worth 100 dollars 😆
Great 👍 haul thanks for the video keep it coming
Yes!! Wrap your stuff if you have time! I've broke a lot of stuff😢
