In the Fall of my senior year, I took 18 credit hours while finishing my thesis and was working 2 part time jobs. When I tell you I was STRESSED. But literally I kept repeating a saying in my head almost everyday that my 10th grade geometry teacher told me when I was struggling with my grades. He told me, “this too shall pass.” Literally what got me through it. Even now in grad school, I’m in the same boat taking 4 classes (which is kind of like the equivalent of taking 18 credit hours) and working full time, I keep thinking of what he told me. This too shall pass, Lauren. You got this!💛

I’ve taken 18 credits per semester for the last 2.5 years. I’m in my last semester now; I only had 4 classes left until graduation, so I’m obviously just taking 12 credits until December. I know how grueling 18 credits can be. It feels like every waking moment is dedicated to school, especially when you’re hell bent on getting good grades. You’re doing awesome! We see you! Just a little longer and it’ll all be over.

GIRL YES!!! Being a content creator is SO TIME CONSUMING and so much hard work. Between talking to companies, filming collaborations, filming RUclips videos, editing Tiktoks and instagram reels, engaging, etc. I literally work more hours than my partner who works a "normal job." Yes it's a job that comes with a lot of perks and privileges, but it's soooo much hard work and I also get really frustrated when people discount that hard work. You're doing amazing!!

Ughh...that is frustrating to hear someone make a negative comment towards your work. I guarantee if that person spent half of a day doing what you and other content creators do, they would have a completely different outlook. I always view influencers as brave because they are not only promoting products, services, etc...but you are promoting yourself..and it's awesome. Keep it up..take it one day at a time. 💜☺

Similar to when we work out, we can't be 100% all the time. We have to rest and decompress. I agree with the comment that said "you aren't at New York Fashion Week every day" so the balance of videos like this I think relays to your audience, especially to me, that you are human. I would rather watch a realistic person "day in their life" that is actually achievable than the ones that aren't.

My cat would tear up the couch as well, and then we got him those scratching pads and put them around the house and he no longer scratches the couch! We got a 4 pack off of Amazon for pretty cheap and they are really saving our furniture and our cat is getting his needs met!

I am so sorry about that comment. I totally understand why that triggered you the way that it did. I am a teacher's assistant in a preschool. It's an emotionally and physically draining career. Don't get me wrong though I love it and it's very rewarding. Some people in my life tease me about it and say I just babysit all day when there is so much more to it.

Doing anything while being a college student is exhausting. People who don’t do it don’t realize. I also can relate to how you feel when someone says your job isn’t real. Although I don’t do social media as a job I work from home and I’ve been told before that my job isn’t real ….. I work in Human Resources it’s definitely a job but because others see me at home they don’t think I’m work and on top of that I’m a full time grad student. We are on this exhausted train ride together
