Hey Julia, one question from a Romanian heading to Brazil in a couple of weeks.
Silly question but I’ll ask it anyway, is there any Romanian food or snacks that you think Brazilians may like if I was to bring it with me and share it with them while there?
I remember taking some zacusca with me when I was in Bangladesh and sharing it with the locals. It was a mini event because in this small village they had a foreigner and got to share a Romanian dish.
They were so excited and so was I. But then they were so disappointed with zacusca only because in Bangladesh if you don’t drown the dish with lots of spices or hot sauce it will have no taste to them haha. So yeah, I don’t want to repeat the same mistake again.
Enjoy your trip back home and hopefully the scamming episode will be your worst experience on this trip.
