I've been meaning to just start a long playlist of balisong tricks, from begginner to advanced and just re-learn them all and learn all the ones I don't know, not moving on until I can do whatever the trick is perfectly. It's been forever since I've done any of that and I've just been freestyling and doing whatever without much structure.
I'm trying to work in some of your B&B stuff and getting more comfortable with a bunch of fans: the choker fan, under hand fan, back hand and reverse palm fan.
yoooo haven’t watched the video yet, but i’ve been going back and reallyyyy drilling the fundamentals. Doing all sorts of chaplins on all fingers to make them smooth af. with life: you can only cook what’s in the fridge. so make sure u always really work on that basic stuff. same applies for every skill.
@BaliBliss0 hmm I know there are different washes you can do. Vinegar or coffee do work but you would still need to protect the pivots. Beating it would make it darker kinda but not a consistent shade for the whole blade
i just feel like i keep doing the same tricks but i just need to learn more things and spread things out
@@AbyssFlips I’m in the same boat honestly. This is why I’ve been thinking of the fundamentals
@ for real thanks for the vids bro
@@AbyssFlips I appreciate that man ty

you basically say exactly what i said i’m sorry lol
@@iamsnoot well, you know what they say about great minds…
Great point for sure! I am curious, what do you all consider to be the fundamental balisong tricks?
@@benshaminflips chap, rev chap, ladder, twirls, fans
@@benshaminflips I feel like Aerials are more on a case by case basis
@@pez_flips Interesting, do you mean that it depends on the aerial, or it depends on the person's style?
@ I’d say the aerial
@@pez_flips makes sense 👌
I’m still at the point of learning the fundie
@@hockwiig that’s good tho. Building a good foundation
How do you make your white steel blade darker and beaten without stonewashing. Or can you just beat the absolute living shit out of it.

@pez_flips thanks but i will probably do it in the future bec i dont want to take apart anything and mess it up
@ I understand that feeling loo
@@pez_flipsi really like what you did with your kraken you sanded the ink away right?
@ oh on the silver one? Yeah I brushed it pretty roughly with 400 grit I think
