- Bat is a graffiti writer in New York City. We got to hang out with him for a night as he took us underground to bomb the tunnels. We talked about his tough ride in life, the many ups and downs he's been through, addiction, loss and his distrust towards most people.

Its been....3 months since I put anything in my body
I did this while working in a cultivation center for medical grade marijuana
Everyone I knew smoked: friends, bosses, roommates...everyone. Plus free samples and discounted bud
Somehow and for some reason, I just quit cold turkey. Saved SO much money, passed a drug test for a better job and my clothes smell like soap!
And its like he says, you don't really feel like you belong anywhere, but you have to create the space that's comfortable for you.

Your opinion isn’t what bothered me at all, and when I said “you don’t look at the art” I didn’t mean literally “you” nor any specific piece of “art”, was trying to say you don’t seem to appreciate what it is, rather try to make it what it isn’t. Graffiti is an art for in itself but all graffiti isn’t art. It’s all contradictory in the end. Didn’t mean to come off as rude btw and I appreciate the response. Also I do enjoy his shitty unkempt style and I’d like to think I would enjoy it just as much in a sketch book and that’s my opinion.
