Don't get the drama over the ship, yes they didn't really meet in Runeterra officially, but that can be changed with additional lore. Look at Ahri and Yasuo, they were shipped and it didn't make much sense until they got their interactions within the Ruination lore. If the concern is about too many "gay" ships, then I don't know what to say because other than the 8 characters being Sett, Aphelios, Diana, Leona, Caitlyn, Vi, Ksante, and Nekko, I don't recognize as anyone else being part of the LGBT+ community.
