GPIC 2023: Side event - GCF readiness programme

This session focused on the Readiness and Preparatory Support Programme. The Readiness Programme is a GCF funding modality, which provides broad and flexible scope for developing countries to pursue activities that aim to achieve:
strengthening capacity to plan and implement climate investments, including translating national strategies into climate investment plans and strengthening enabling environments for their successful implementation;
originating impactful, country-owned climate investments in climate mitigation and adaptation measures; and
drawing results of the Readiness support and sharing knowledge and learning.
