After Earth is an amazing movie. All about facing your fear. Whenever I am afraid I always quote in my mind. 'Fear, is not real, it is a choice. Fear is only a creation of our own mind, created by thoughts of the future, thoughts of things that have not happened, and may not ever happen. Danger, is very real. We can face it, but we do not have to fear it.' Will Smith said it somewhat that way. Love it. A movie with a meaning.
Best at 4:30 which made that the best part of the film. One of the all time most epic scores to any film. Carried the film and made it amazing. Up there with Steve Jablonsky who made the Transformers films great, and Hans Zimmer for making King Arthur, Crimson Tide and Batman great. If you take away the score from a great film and then suddenly the film isn't great anymore then the composer has done as good a job as the director.

Unoriginal in the extreme. I hear parts of Toccata and Fugue, Mars, and portions that sound like a Hans Zimmer copy-paste.
I love James Newton Howard but this music is too generic for me.
