      Gemma is my auntie and the boy is my cousin! I know he was very upset about what has happened to his mum but there getting through it together! Although she still hasn’t been able to get a leg because of the infection, she is taking more operations and could soon be able to have one. It’s very complicated but there both being really brave throughout!

      Alana Trotter I am so glad to hear that. Please keep everyone updated on her as we are all obviously watching this Because we wanted to know how she could change her life for herself. Thank you so much

      Daniella Hunt Unfortunately she still hasn’t been able to get a leg due to an infection. She has and still is having many operations on her leg in different countries to try and eventually be able to walk again. She uses crutches still and will refuse to use a wheelchair as she still wants to remain active and get exercise for her health and well-being. She is determined to be able to get a prosthetic leg so her life will be a lot easier and she can play with her son a lot more. It will be a very painful and difficult journey but she is getting there!

    • @ThatRomyKate
      @ThatRomyKate 6 лет назад +3

      Nickel M I was wondering that but maybe she wouldn’t get as much function and movement from a normal leg?

    • @alanatrotter8046
      @alanatrotter8046 6 лет назад +4

      Gemma is my auntie so I’m her niece. A regular prosthetic isn’t able to support her leg since her amputation was above the knee but also for other reasons. Also you still need a pin to hold it in but the leg still had an infection that prevented that from happening and holding it so that’s why.

      Sara Astrid They keep the same dress that she wore on the ‘This year’ part and remember how her hair was, and then invite the audience back the next year and make her wear the same outfit and put her hair back and cut it so she just walks across.
