I really wish we had this one in the states. it probably wouldn't do too well here, since it's more of an in town machine. it has many upgrades over my dr200 that I use to ride to work everyday. I would love it.

Nice review. It's a very popular bike here in Mindanao (Iligan). Indeed I bought one myself, and joined the local Sniper club, when I moved here from the UK. A step down in capacity (I had a Continental GT 650, Husqvarna 701 and a GPZ750), but not fun. There are also lots of aftermarket parts available. Meaning that, just like the Continental GT, you can make the bike your own.

@@criticalhit971 If you mean the Yamaha Sniper Club Philippines - Iligan City Branch. They meet at the Caltex station, in Tibanga. Around the first Saturday of the month at about 19:00. There's a meeting this coming Saturday, the 22nd, about a charity ride at the end of the month. Which just proves that, like most things Philippines, dates and times aren't rigidly stuck to. If you meant Basketball (not my sport, but at least the ball is the right shape), they are called the Archangels.

Sniper 155 user ako at masasabi ko lang mas masaya siya gamitin kaysa sa mga automatic motorcycles. Big thumbs up din talaga ako sa assist and slipper clutch na nilagay sa kanya, napaka smooth ng downshifting tsaka di ganong ka-barumbado yung back push nung engine break niya pag bigla kang nag downshift from high to lower gear. Plus ang lambot ng clutch niya

we are getting there few more years from now that abs+slipper-clutch+traction-control becomes standard on underbone.
the issue here is how to make technology to be affordable on mass production models.
the best example here is the NMAX with all the safety features on an automatic scooter, they should give there underbones the same treatment.

How is the suspension on this bike? The last model had a terrible front fork that would bottom out on the slightest bump.

2024 snipr 155 dapt may abs tcs at iba pa. Kahit maging 150k payan bibilin ng mga tao kasi iba talaga dating mo pag naka sniper beep beep beep. Kawawa kalang talaga pag naulan puno ka ng putek hahha. Nmax nakapag drive nako napaka smooth parang kotse aerox normal lmg. Sa sniper kada piga nandun ung power na dika bibitinin

Great. Please consider the Raider R150 FI if you plan to feature something similar to this. They have been going toe-to-toe in the market for years now. Another close competitor is the Honda Supra GTR 150. The underbone segment is for those who want raw power without having to fork out loads of cash for a bigger displacement sportsbike. Also, please try these on the racetracks too.

@@drifter1025 I disagree, it's the other way around. These are trackbikes first and commuters second. To add from my previous comment the underbone segment is a popular class in SEA, you would see it packed every trackday weekend. Even Jinno here would agree, he just hosted PSBK earlier today.
@@justinlacas7866I'm an American living in the Philippines the only reason you see a lot of underbones at track days in SEA is because people can't afford higher end track bikes. It's pretty much a bunch of slow 150-300cc most of the time.
Gtr is a old model honda thats a garbage from the other contries, its already winner x 160 version 2

If ytou're gonna compare small displacements with your American liter bikes with all the American ego thrown then yeah they're slow. But then again slow is relative when it comes to competitions and classes.

@@evoemperor3776 i dont think so. Depende yan sa trip mo, if trip mo sa track then the best Underbone for that is definitely the sniper. Wala kang makikita sa ARRC UB150 na raider lahat sniper. If drag racing naman trip mo, ofc raider tayo jan. So depende lang talaga sa preference.

When it comes to power raider 150 fi panalo dyan at alam ng lahat yan pero pag long ride at track yung trip mo sniper is the best option. I'm a raider 150 fi owner but since hindi sya convenient para sa long ride and to use daily I decided to modify it into a thai streetbike.

The suspension of this bike is great. But if you have an OBR who's slightly heavy (80-90kgs), it might be a little too soft and bouncy.

kung marunog kang mag rev match pg nag dodownshift, kahit wlang slipper clutch, di ka itutulak ng motor. ang slipper clutch, di yan substitute sa rev matching.
@@lebronirving8367 alam ko mag rev match, nakagamit na ako ng mga naka hyper clutch at lagi ako nag rerev match tuwing nag babawa ng gear fyi. Iba lang talaga ang feel ng slipper clutch mas smooth. Alam ko yang mga ganyang bagay bro 😜
